Damn this card is brutal! The obvious abuse is with flicker effects like Cloudshift but isn't even necessary on such a powerful six drop.

I expect this to see heavy play in Standard 4C Reanimator builds. Bring it back turn 4-5 with some mana ramping so that you can cloudshift it at the end of the first combat, then have a go at it again to really make your opponent regret wasting their removal on the Loxodon Smiter you dropped T2. Just brutal.

Probably the best R/W EDH general ever. Powerful on her own, synergistic with a whole bunch of stuff (good R/W aggressive creatures, equipment, pumps, etc.). And can just win the game out of nowhere with general damage thanks to haste and powerful double strike pumps.
If only R/W had some decent card draw that wasn't so expensive...

I'm actually more pleased not because of what she can do, but because of what she can't :D
While this is a SUPERB card and I would love to open it in a booster pack, it ALSO manages to not feel "SUPER Mythic". Getting her won't feel like opening Gideon, Champion of Justice or Avacyn, Angel of Hope.
By Ravnica Standards, she is Super Boss. By Multiverse Standards, she 'qualifies' for Planeswalkers to notice and talk to her and some might actually know she can mess with their plans if they aren't too arrogant. I doubt Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker considers her as more than a gnat. That is how Ravnica Block's orginal Legends felt, and that is how they continue to feel. I feel like, despite how Pushed she LOOKS, she could have been MOAR pushed, and I'm glad she wasn't. She totally Dies to Doom Blade for example :)

DarthParallax, you didn't mention Kaalia! I'm proud of you!!
I can see this in EDH and I really like the mana curve. Imagine T5 Nobilis of War drop and this following next turn. Those creatures alone would do 20 dmg, with evasion, but if you are playing boros, you likley have a whole horde of creatures out, making this card all that much more brutal. Well desinged, as a finished and mana cost is pretty balanced, I'd say. She's not overpowered, but she sure is very strong.

Probably the card I was most looking forward to.
Haste and Flying that can swing for 6 damage, for 6 mana, is enough for me.
Doubling my attacking force, re-triggering Attack triggers (like battalion), with the potential for more or even infinite combat turns, and all on the turn she comes in makes her almost unreal.
And they threw on vigilance to boot.
I love cards with a lot of inherent synergy, and they went ahead and made her into a little engine of destruction.

Why are people so excited about this card? It doesn't do anything. Getting an extra combat phase means they get to block twice as well. The only way this effect is beneficial is if you have better creatures, you have more creatures, or they have no creatures. In any of those cases - congratulations. You were already winning the game, you didn't need to spend six mana and a card to do nothing.
Not to mention the fact that the body is just not good enough for its cost.

@Aaronk: Obviously you haven't seen this little Boros mechanic called "Battalion" yet. Getting two Battalion triggers makes Boros Elite a 5/5, gets you another shot with Firemane Avenger, and allows you another attack with the conveniently empty field after you tapped all of their creatures with Aurelia's Fury. Most of the time, Boros opens the field for a single, glorious charge. This gives you a SECOND glorious charge for absolutely free.
Plus, there are these funny things called Auras which you can put on Aurelia. Hrm. It's almost like they picked her name specifically to imply that you should do something, isn't it?
Uh, maybe I missed someone else mentioning it, but I think the absolute perfect card with Aurelia is Frontline Medic. With all of your creatures attacking twice and indestructible, your opponent will have to really think about how he'll want to block, since none of your creatures will die and their creatures will take damage from both combat phases. Either that, or your opponent will simply die after both of these are on the board. There's that too.

Everything about the Boros is just better this set compared to Ravnica: City of Guilds. Better guildmage, better charm, better quality of creatures, better mechanic, and a better guildmaster. Aurelia just feels more Boros than Razia.

It would certainly be a very strange deck, and a very specific scenario, but there's potential for infinite combat steps with her, Deadeye Navigator, and some mana dorks (at least 1 Arbor Elf with a Breeding Pool to target). Pair Aurelia with Deadeye, swing with her, untap all creatures, use the mana dorks to pay the the cost of blinking her, rinse and repeat.

Just stupid with haste. Can come out of nowhere and single-handedly give the win to someone who has been behind the entire game. It would be balanced without haste, giving the opponent at least a turn to respond.
In one game, I had been in control the entire game, had taken no damage, and was poised to kill my opponent the next turn. He top-decks Aurelia, and in one turn takes me from 20 to zero.

Random Musing: Aurelia is awesome for a killing blow/ all out swing with everything you have in true Boros style but she actually has amazing synergy with exalted. If you drop her and swing with her alone (say you have a Sublime Archangel out and three other creatures) she gets a +5/+5 exalted bonus. Then on her second swing however she gets to keep the first exalted bonus and she adds a second +5/+5 on top of it. So in this situation you get to use one creature to dome your opponent for 21 damage. It might not always work that well, but it's just a thought

My brother never beats me, but with this he did. I just got owned. I took it out of the deck he was using and put it in my deck.
Aurelia marks another marvellous red/white legendary creature, playable in EDH. Most Red/White legends are pretty good for EDH (excluding Razia, Boros Archangel).
Actually, now that I'm looking at them, most of them work together: Aurelia, Agrus Kos, Gisela, Jor Kadeen, Brion Stoutarm and Basandra, if all on the field, can have one hell of a combat phase.
You attack with all but Brion, while also being protected by Basandra. Since you've got 3 artifacts (uhh... sol ring, boros signet, and Mox Opal), all your creatures have +3/+0, thanks to Jor Kadeen. Agrus Kos activates, giving all your attackers +2/+2.
So, that'd be Base attack (20) + Jor Kadeen Bonus x5 (15) + Agrus Kos Bonus x5 (10) x Gisela multiplier (2) = 90 damage. Aurelia would untap all and cause another battle phase. Since Agrus Kos gets to attack again, giving all your creatures an additional +2/+2. That's be Base + Kadeen bonus + Kos Bonus (45) + Second Kos bonus (10) x Gisela Multiplier (2) = 110 damage. Which would add up to 200 damage in one combat phase with 5 creatures.
In addition, you'd have an untapped Brion. You'd sacrifice Kadeen, who'd have +7/+4 (making him a 12/8), dealing 12 x 2 damage, thanks to Gisela.
It's funny how well Agrus Kos works with Aurelia, especially considering their guild allegiance.

I'm sure someone's said it already, but it also lets you double up on Battalion effects. Triggering Firemane Angel, Boros Elite or even Firemind Infantry twice would be pretty awesome. Then again, it's useless for the likes of Daring Skyjek and Wojek Halberdiers.

I really like the Razia reference. Compared to her predecessor Razia, Boros Archangel She makes up for the 6/3 Haste, Vigilance with her own 4/3 Insurrection. I love how being a mythic has made Legends so much more powerful. I kind of feel bad that all Razia got was a 3 damage redirection and cost 8 mana. EEk no wonder she didn't see much play. As far as Aurelia goes everything I want to say about her has already been said. In Limited pick her and bash in for the win, in Standard she is a late game monster who needs to be dealt with.

With the new legendary rule, Aurelia here goes infinite with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. 1. Attack 2. Use Kikki's effect to clone her in response to her untap trigger 3. Send the old Aurelia to the graveyard 4. Go to your next combat phase 5. Repeat
However, you do need at least one more creature or something like Purphopros, God of the Forge, since dying as a state-based action means she never actually gets to deal any damage. However, I'd like to see someone build a deck around this in Modern.
EDIT: Dammit Kiki, why do you specify non-legendary creature? I'm gonna leave this post as a reminder to myself to read the card before i post.

I have cloud shift inside the deck I run with her but I never have had to use it for the extra attacks because its usually game over by the second combat phase. Absolutely fantastic card. Typically, at this juncture in the game, opponents aren't in the position to remove it immediately, and she can just wipe people. I've been in EDH games with her (In my Gisela deck) where I've been able to kill people with full health instantly with her and the rest of my arsenal. Even if she dies next turn, you're still getting a lot of value out of her. Also, being able to kill two opponents in one turn is wonderful.

Aurelia: when Boros was introduced to the concept of the "double-tap" they decided to be a bit liberal with the application of the "tap" part, instead focusing wholly on the "double" aspect of the impending assault.
