One of the best card types I see being exiled by her is land. Being able to use her to fetch it back later for UB will help you focus on casting your spells early game and hit your drops late game.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this card doesn't work at all with Misthollow Griffin. This card exiles things face down, and Misthollow's ability won't work unless it's face up.
Combo-licious! Seems great with Damia and Bottled Cloister, for instance. She also protects key parts of your hand from discard, which is nice in combo-centric U/B. Plus, she's a cutie!

Enables card draw at a price, kinda feels a little like transmute (get a card at the cost of another card) but a bit more risky.

I think I'd play her in standard. 3 on the ass of a card advantage engine isn't bad at all.

Use this to hide your counter spells, give your opponent a false sense of security, and then counter their bomb by retrieving the counter instant speed.

This is my favorite card in the set. It is a powerful and unique version of the looting mechanic, and is also incredibly flavorful as a pawn broker. Finally, it makes an interesting combo with Misthollow Griffin
5/5
Edit: Right, face down Misthollows don't work, thank's, marmaris74! It's still my favorite card in the set, though, it looks like a lot of fun to play with

Lovely art and flavor. Nice way to keep cards you don't want discarded somewhere safe for a while...as long as you keep her safe.

The card's good, but... I don't really like the picture. Why does it look cel-shaded? Why is she a Kingdom Hearts character? People hate on art from Ian Miller or the Foglios for being unrealistic, but this is okay?

@Dabok: Whenever a permanent refers to itself by name, it means that exact object. Meaning what her text really says is "You may look at cards exiled with this permanent" and "Return a card exiled with this permanent to its owner's hand." Or at least, that's the simplest version of it I could give. So if she dies, all the cards exiled by her are lost, barring something that lets you get them back. No other copy of her* will enable you to get them back. For example, take Putrid Leech. Paying the 2 life doesn't mean EVERY copy of Putrid Leech in play gets +2/+2, because technically says 'this creature gets +2/+2.'
*I feel I should also note that if she is flickered, or bounced, or in any way leaves the table then comes back, the cards are lost. The game only 'remembers' a permanent while it is in play. Even if it's physically the same card, it's a completely different object as far as the game is concerned, so be careful in how you choose to protect her. Hope this helps!

I don't know what to think of this card as of now. I mean she is very unique. That alone guarantees her a high vote from me, but I want to discuss about the "risks" of this card. There's no rules as of today (01/22/13), so I'd like to ask you guys what happens if this gets killed and I put another copy into play. Can I use her third ability to retrieve the cards removed from the game by my previous Bane Alley Broker or not?
PS : She looks like Isabela from Dragon Age 2
EDIT : Thanks PolskiSuzeren for the response! Now ouch...this makes it a very risky card...one should really opt to eliminate subpar cards in their decks when using this, or lands (because it's not a brilliant idea to put subpar cards in your deck on purpose)
I think it would be funny to have some hypothetical situation where you have no cards in hand, but a bunch of cards exiled with this, and respond to your opponent by de-exiling and then playing. It would be great if it didn't require {t} in order to pull cards back from eternity.
that having been said...I like it better than draw then discard, but only slightly, and only for sorceries/instants

hello, i have a question about this card..If you have 2 Bane Alley Broker into the battlefield, you tap the first one to draw a card and you put one face down(exiled)..with the other one can you pay and tap it to draw a card that exiled with the other one Bane Alley Broker? i'm asking because the card says "Return a card exiled with bane alley broker to its owner's hand and both of them have same name..ty

I got 2 of them in the prerelease. I used it to exile stuff I couldn't use and excess land. extra draw is nice, even with the risk of losing her and the exiled stuff. I lost her with 2 land and a 7 drop exiled, was still forth it.

If this creature is killed while cards are exiled, the card are gone for the game. Doesn't matter if you play another. Too risky for the ability.

This is such an awesome card, its the new looter and it really keeps your opponent guessing as to what cards you have in your hand. The 3 toughness also makes it hard to remove in this set. I want to pair it up with Illusionist's Bracers for maximum card drawing efficiency. That way you are drawing 2, exiling two per turn. Yes you will find your win-condition! The added bonus us paying UB you get to return 2 cards to your hand instead of 1. 4/5 for being such a good card in this set.

"No need for an indrik? How about these maps to recently discovered tombs? Or these vials of invisible potion? Very fancy . . ."
My only question is what if you have more than one? Would the exiled cards go in different piles, and if you have two and a one dies would you be able to recover a card exiled by the dead one if the other broker was also in play when the first one was?
Serious questions.

Don't think it's so good, nice design, art and flavor and all, but very vulnerable and a high mana cost for a looter. You might stow some stuff you need with her, then she gets burned and you're boned. Would've been almost a staple at 2/3, it's too bad she doesn't have a single point of power.

A good library filter and a good way to protect your late game threats against discard. It may be too slow for competitive formats but it looks like a fun Johnny card to toy around with.

It's a shame this doesn't cost UB. Control needs a X/3 card advantage 2 cost to block all the bears in agro (like BTE) while still being good against control. So Omenspeaker must take the role, even though I'd rather run this guy.

Fantastic card, has plenty of uses. One of them is hiding a card in hand from something like Duress. It can block, generate card advantage, and dig for combos. 4.5/5

@Randowar: See the official ruling: Bane Alley Broker's second and third abilities apply to cards exiled with that specific Bane Alley Broker, not any other creature named Bane Alley Broker. You should keep cards exiled by different Bane Alley Brokers separate.
