Brutal card for 1 CMC. gives unleash another tool to overpower opponents with. People don't like unleash now, but they will once things loosen up. Unleash is good, just give it time.

The strictly better Unholy Strength, I wonder if we'll see a strictly better Holy Strength? That would be interesting. It fits beautifully with the flavor of the Rakdos; comes out early and strong dealing that extra damage before the opponent can set up.

2 for 1 is bad numbers in limited I am afraid.

This boosts up your creature with the option to give it trample. I am a pro and I like it.

This card is a good example of what auras need to become in order to see more play. They need to be aggressively costed, with buffs that make them worth playing in spite of the inherent card disadvantage that creature enchantments inflict, or be recursive somehow. Spectral Flight saw some play thanks to its low cost and Angelic Destiny and Rancor were/are established powerhouses in both constructed and limited. Auras may become useful tools in aggressive decks looking to push through extra damage before the card disadvantage they incur hamstrings their mid-to-late game.

Strictly better than Unholy Strength, but then again, no one played that card anyhow. The real point is that the artwork is HOT! And for this I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Not really. I don't rate cards based on their artwork. But if I did...

+2/+1 and trample for a turn isn't even that bad for 2 mana, depending on what you have with you. Thinking of it as that and incentive to kill a specific creature over other alternatives makes it seem pretty decent.

I know this is unintuitive, but listen to me. Play Auras on shit you want to die. stuff with scavenge, like Slitherhead or Dreg Mangler. People don't like 2 for 1 ing you if they know it'll end up hurting them, even if letting you keep your creature is a bad idea.

You were given a strictly better Unholy Strength and you guys are still bitching about getting "2 for 1'd"?
What the hell more do you want?

This card is crazy in drafts.
Turn one Rackdos Cacler, unleash it.
Next turn, this card, and you've got a 4/3 that you can give trample at any time for just 1.
This card it just incredible in drafts running Rakdos. Facing high power trampling creatures in brutal, plus you get the Black/Red removal and haste in this set.
Overall very good card just for drafting, otherwise, I might run several in a deck, but they just don't have the affect that they do in drafts.

So it turns out that five Deviant Glee's and a couple of Frostburn Weird is actually a deck in limited.

a color replacement for Predator's Gambit... seems a little soon to be forgetting about the last non-core set already. not that i'm complaining or anything. i'm still going to dump Predator's Gambit on my fog of gnats in my mono-black deck. people say no one plays unholy strength... i did until these two cards... you try dealing with a 3/2 black flying regenerate on turn 3 (pray that i only had one predators gambit in my starting hand)

Every once in a while I get an opening hand Chancellor of the Forge in my Rakdos deck, throw this on it and swing for 3, then drop a mountain on turn 2 and dare them to block with their 1-drop 1/1. I love this so much, especially when I force my opponent to use removal on a free token and a 1-mana aura. By then though I've already torn up their life total quite a bit and it's easy to finish them off. 5/5

This card is very strong and, sadly, outclasses my old Unholy Strength.

Aggro are becoming epic nowadays!

The character in the art is confirmed to be Massacre Girl, interestingly enough. And since the guild champions in Dragon's Maze got spoiled last night at PAX East, we know that Massacre Girl won't be getting a card. So, flavor-enthusiasts, grab one while they're convenient (not that this will ever be tough to find).

This is better than Unholy Strength which has been stated. As for being 2 for 1'ed well Think of this in a Grixis style deck playing on a Invisible Stalker. Or hell any of the cheap Unleash critters and you can be sure to get through with some damage.

Attached to a Early Flyer or unblockable and it becomes something nasty if not answered.

At Dragon Maze Pre Release... Pulled this and Goodness that Trample is just soooooo Good. Bloodrush and then they think they can cheap chump it... Well I'll show them.

Might go quite well on a Jagged Poppet. You don't care about your hand much and they're nigh guaranteed to lose a batch of cards. Neat tech anyway.

Strictly better than Unholy Strength...but rated lower for some reason...

Seriously I'll never understand that, any card that give as creature Trample, one of the most useful abilities in the game, for cheap is a win in my book. The +2/+1 boost is just gravy.

Turn 2, this is a great aura to cast on Tormented Hero or Rakdos Cackler. The only downside is the card disadvantage, especially if the creature dies. In aggressive Black or Black or Red decks though, this card can really shine. Deathcult Rogue is also pretty cool to use this on, if the opponent isn't playing any rogues.

Defensively, it can even give smaller monsters a chance if cast mid-late game, one of my tactics is to gang block fatties with my smaller creatures, then bring them all back with a cheap Immortal Servitude at the end of the turn.
