I kinda always missed first strike on Boros' leader, possibly the most -flavored basic keyword you could ask for. But the way this card is designed she doesn't need first strike to be good, her tapping ability and vigilance (and haste) make a nice synergy. Like this an opponent needs blocking flyers with total power 6 or greater in order to destroy her.
Great artwork, too. The atmosphere in general, and especially the wings look great.

Great card, loved it when she hit the table the other night. 8 CC is pretty steep, particularly for a creatuer than can fall to something like the dreaded lightning bolt.
Still, the haste/vigilance combo makes for some nasty surprises and I love the card concept.

she can technically survive bolt if you use her ability to redirect the damage to something else.
Also, her abilities synch up very well with each other. She's a bit too much cmc, but I wanna give her bonus points for flavor.

I like this card but I agree with others in 8 cmc is steep. But in a W/R damage redirection deck this is a very good card. I'm working on an angel control deck with her as the top deck, just the cmc is too high I have got to bring it down. Woks well with r/w leige.

I know it gets said on every creature card ever printed... but Scourge of the Nobilis makes Razia just so much better.
I'm pretty sure this is the only creature that can take on a first-striking deathtoucher like Pestilent Kathari and still live, without indestructibility or something. Actually... she can take on three. Now that's bad@ss.

I think we can all agree that 8 mana was a tad on the high side. Lower it by one or maybe two wouldn't make it broken and it's too bad they didn't because with all that flavour, synergy and power she's just a joy to use. I think they could've pushed this one and had it become a real favourite (not that she has any lack of admirers but still).

The vigilance/haste combo is awesome...that pesy {4}{R}{R}{W}{W} mana cost is a bit tought to pull off but well worth it and with her {T} ability she can swing pretty much fearlessly, if they block her, have 3 of the damage redirected back to that creature!

Oh...my...I just noticed she's swooping down on you from the top of a skyscraper....like the GOD DANG BATMAN! Ravnica may just be the best dang place to draw fanatasy creatures, spells, events, things, WHATEVER. If you are working on an art commission for MTG, and they don't specifically ask for a different kind of background, put it on Ravnica. Formula for win-sauce illustrations. Most art des criptions can be 'interpreted' to mean part of Ravnica anyway. I like the idea of Mirrodin...but I bet you could redesign Ravnica to just include a Metal District, for the missing not-a-color.
I know Wizards' normal naming convention....but here's hoping that 'Innistrad' is just a word that means something, like 'Guildpact' and it actually takes place on Ravnica. That would be the best Magic news since the History of Magic. Idea: Ravnica setting crossed with Shadowmoor concept (Plane went evil with Horror and Awesomeness) = Innistrad. Please, please, please let this be happen.

She flashed in, but I felt unalarmed (A 6/3 in the air, what's the harm?) Then her parlor-mage trick swerved my Lightning Helix in the way of my Master-at-Arms!
I know it had to fit in the realm of Boros in the Ravnica block, but all things considered would have been a better cost - I mean Razia is nothing more than a Lightning Angel on crack and a CMC of six would have been fair.
I have played Boros for a while in my angel deck using my Belbe's portal and it think people just underestimate this Angel.

So are ruby medallion and pearl medallion (Oh look at that you just cut off 2 cost and your sol ring covers the other 2 and to add to it your Agrus, Jor, and Stoutarm just came out that much faster.) 3. There are multiple lands that give first strike or double strike.

Goblin Arsonist... *tap Razia* I'll just re-direct the 3 that my Goblin would take over to your Sun Titan. Oh and Gisela's other ability will activate, bumping that back up to 6. Have a nice day"

I haven't playtested with it yet but, in combat with another creature, it's essentially a 9/6 creature due to her activated ability. I wanna try this in my R/W EDH deck alongside some other r/w angels. Aurelia, the Warleader, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Basandra, Battle Seraph. 8 mana is a lot but, when your curve sort of stops around 6 or 7 it's nice when you have like 10 mana at your disposal in multi-player to have something that goes over the top. Due to the fact it has haste and vigilance and the utility you get out of this through protecting your creatures in combat and dealing with opposing creatures you get your mana's worth. It's no Avacyn but, it has more utility then something like an akroma. Pretty nuts with basilisk collar too.
I also kind of just want to live the dream of going Tajic into basandra into aurelia into gisela into razia. Kind of nutty to think about. heh heh xD
