The only problem with this guy is that he kills my opponent before I have fun with the tokens

The only problem with this guy is he didn't help the Coalition and yet he's in the Coalition Deck....

He's my EDH general. He's a house. You can literally at least double your tokens every turn, and he is strong enough to stop most things that come in his way.

I like this guy, he doesnt do things to your opponents hand, (which by the time you drop a 6 CMC creature like this is looking pretty thin) and you can hit your opponent (well you could do that literally anytime you want i guess) with rith and still have a heap of blockers left over, assuming you havent beaten your opponent to death already

Guys, Rith is "She", not "He" xD.
Rith is a Female Dragon xD
And a very badass dragon in the novel! ^^

If you choose the color green, you'll double your tokens plus one because Rith himself is green (assuming you dont have any other green permanents). This guy can get out of control quickly.

Some people pop lands to finish off the last opponent in EDH with Numot. Others make absurd amounts of saprolings with Ms. Rith.

This with Strength in Numbers = my commander is 30/30 with flying and trample.

I try hard to find original uses for cards, so I've been trying to figure out how to make a deck where it's appropriate to pick something other than Green the first time.
That said, pick Green the second time and all other times after that.

I love her as an EDH commander. Giving her double strike and paying 6 mana gives a lot of saprolings each turn. That may be a lot to pay Ashnod's Altar makes it a whole lot easier; suddenly you'll have more than enough colourless mana to use for whatever you choose. Even without the Altar, 8 mana for a double cleave and her ability activated twice is a nasty surprise in a combat phase.
Can Rith's ability be activated multiple times after dealing damage or only once after dealing damage?

My one problem with this card:
Rith is emerald-colored in the novels.
Other than that, awesome card.

Unless an activated ability says you can pay to activate it more than once, it can only be activated once, Silveros.

Always liked this card. Tried to make a token deck around her years and years ago, before doubling season was out, so had to rely on other cards from the set like saproling symbiosis.
Definitely want to make an EDH around this card again, but I'm torn between this or a w, g, b deck.

Planning to use as my Commander in EDH.
Pairing this with the leaked Aurelia from Gatecrash, Warstorm Surge and Nacatl War-Pride.
I'm pairing this with umbral mantle, sigil of sleep and hermetic study. I know, I know, tokens and the 6/6 flying for 6 is already mean enough, there's just something enjoyable about spawning tokens multiple times per turn while emptying my opponents field of creatures. Once I get Teneb, the Harvester, I'm not sure who's combo I will like more.....Probably Rith's.

I used to run a Naya EDH with Mayael the Anima as my general, but it always felt sorta clunky. I basically played a bunch of ramp and big creatures and almost always lost to boardwipes. I think if I ever try Naya colors again, I'm definitely picking Rith as my new general. She has a lot of potential, especially if you give her trample. Plus, has access to lots of creautre buffs like Gaea's Anthem and Beastmaster Ascension.

LOOK AT ALL THESE TOKENS, and you're dead.
