A Shockland rated at 2.9? Something's terribly wrong here.

This art alone looks like you could build an entire franchise off of it. Movies, books and video games get crackin'!

Rated 5 to balance the rating. Why does someone stalk the website just to haterate things?!

Well heres the giant mutant monster that people said were missing in the first breeding ppol art.

This is where you go swimming if you want to gain super powers.

I'm really liking the new modern look they gave Simic.

Rating should always be 5/5 on shock lands.
Anyway I love green blue and the Simic alien-llike mutant cloning bioengineering magic fits perfectly with the artwork and flavor of this card.
Art and flavor 5/5

Hm. I like the overall Style of the Momir Vig Simic Combine more, but Speaker Zegana's Revival has better people working on visual advertising. (This Breeding Pool looks more like a Breeding Pool than the other printed art did.)

Hard to argue with the Shocklands; they're just that good. I was very excited to open this in my Simic sealed pool at the pre-release.
Plus, the art alone deserves 5/5.

This is one of the only RTR block shocklands I prefer the art on to the original version.

Question for modern magic players: which art is better of the two Breeding Pool renderings?

Elegant. Organic. Lush. Teeming with all forms of life. Such is Green or Blue, and this art captures it better than the danker, more sinister Dissension version.

It's a Liopleurodon, Charlie! A maaaaaaagical Liopleurodon!

Look at the size of that dragon-fish-thing compared to the windows in the buildings... And yet it looks like it may be a pet to the Simic guild. Style points to the Simic for having giant sea monster pets. :D (And there are more than one of them: At least two, and maybe two more if those underwater shadows are.)

Almost looks like Kamigawa architecture. Both are beautiful, like lily pads upon the water.

I've seen the Breeding Pool in person.
It's just a jacuzzi with a thin film of bodily fluids floating on the surface.
0/5.

Sweet art, but the Breeding Pool should DEFINITELY be a jacuzzi.
