This seems decent I guess, the flavor text is sweet though. Make Massacre Girl the new BR planeswalker XD

Ironically enough, this is one Rakdos card I probably won't want to unleash. The deathtouch arguably makes her better as a defender than as an attacker. Although, if your opponent has tramplers on his side, it may not matter as much.

Since Innistrad gave us Typhoid Rats, my black Deathtouch deck was missing only one thing, and here she comes in all her glory, a deathtoucher for 2 mana. Now the mana curve is perfect.

Idk if this is worth an uncommon slot but it is a very good card. 2/3 for (2) is great, then give it deathtouch. Options, people! Love the options!
Block their big nasties if you want. Or dare them to block you as you attack. Either way this card will do its job very well.
4/5 for being very useful and giving you mad options. But its not really an uncommon... not really.

I think this card is better than at first sight
Offensively in the early game its great to unleash it considering the opponent probly wont have a creature with power greater than 2
in the later game it can be a defense tool for cheap, solid 4 from me
I would use this with instants that give first strike

Pros like me will most likely use unleash in the early game and opt out of it in the late game. But that can change depending on whether I need it for offense of defense. That is the beauty of unleash.

This is a great card. A 1/2 death-toucher for two mana is already nice by itself. And for being a creature with Unleash, she's a surprisingly good defensive option if you decide not to put a +1/+1 counter on her. This makes her useful even later in the game to get rid of fatties on the ground.
Also she gets pretty cruel with Oona's Blackguard if you unleash her.

Comparing this to Thornweald Archer, it would seem like the Assassin here is a much better creature what with the potential for becoming a 2/3. However, considering it lacks reach and--most importantly--to get the +1/+1 it loses the ability to block, the Archer has the upper-hand. Perhaps it's just my play style, but I find deathtouchers work best as blockers, intimidating, taunting my opponent to attack as opposed to using them as quasi-unblockable creatures, letting my opponent decide the best outcome. Therefore, this is a card that probably would benefit most from not being unleashed and as such, being a 1/2 with deathtouch for 1B is good for Limited, but probably has better choices in Constructed.

As pointed out by others, this card is never obsolete. A 2/3 deathtouch on turn 2 is nothing to sneeze at, and late-game, the 1/2 will be good enough to make for a dangerous chump blocker. 4 stars.

If you plan on unleashing this at the prerelease....be wary of Stab Wound. Nothing is quite as satisfying as turning your opponent's turn 2 Thrill-Kill Assassin into a 0/1 creature that drains them 2 life per turn.

This is actually just fine either way. Early on it's an aggressive creature with an extra bit of toughness that your opponent may not want to block. If you draw one late game you can use it as a wall and trade with anything your opponent has.

What no one has commented on is the fact that this is a 1b HUMAN with deathtouch. Perfect for blocking early red aggro creatures early on, great for intimidating the big fatties your opponent may want to attack you with and excellent for sacrificing to a certain aristocrat. Played in conjunction with blood artists it is definately a winner. As what others have said though the unleash it only useful in very limited situations but it is still a human with death! Hurray!

pair it with Silverblade Paladin, and two things can happen: not unleashed, it becomes a wall at any point in the game, and unleashed, your opponent better have plenty of blockers, because otherwise it's not very inviting. this will be fantastic in orzhov

@AirlockFart That's not her hand. It's her outfit's design. She's dual-wielding the star knives.

3.5/5. A 1/2 for 2 with deathtouch and unleash. Limited fodder and some potential for competitve constructed. Casual players will find uses for her.

Only recently have I've seen this card put to use at FNM, and I see the psychology behind the card when used offensively.
In a game full of power creeps, if you unleash her and use her aggressively, your opponent will have a hard time removing it without the use of kill spells. 3 Toughness is pretty sturdy, so they either have to let 2 damage through, or find something with 3 power to sacrifice to her.

This may sound dumb, but she's actually the backbone of unleash decks in my experience. Why? She does what unleash decks do just fine (you don't want to block her because she's above the curve so you'll lose tempo) and she protects the unleash's back end when things go badly by being a wildly annoying blocker.
Mixed in my deck with Volt Charge and Grim Affliction you can still see her become a 4/5 by the end of a long game if she went aggro, or she can hold the fort down while you fry blockers and create even-larger attackers.
Fun deck; works well. I highly recommend trying her in your unleash :)

A very solid card, hyper-aggressive early game if dropped on turn 2-3 and unleashed, and an excellent chump blocker if dropped late game. Definitely run her with some cards that give her first strike, or if you have a reliable power-buff like exalted then giving her trample with cards like Deviant Glee or slapping on a Madcap Skills is absolutely maniacal.

One of my favorite Black humans. Unleashing her to bear strength and elephant toughness may seem iffy at first, but after you slap a madcap skills you gotta pretty scary attacker on turn 3
