@Lord_of_Tresserhorn How about a Deadeye Navigator instead for extra value?
btw thanks for being a cool commander

@MadMethod
the flicker is for Aurelia. You soulbond Aurelia, the Warleader with Deadeye Navigator and flicker her after the attack. Since she is considered a new permanent the next attack phase will be the first one she attacked on. You continue to do this for as much mana as you can afford to get a much larger number of attacks. Keep attacking that first turn with Medomai the Ageless and you have yourself a combo. There also adding the double strike to the list if we want to live in magical Christmas land.

flicker is irrelevant. No matter when it came in, the turn will still be an extra turn. Double strike, on the other hand... Aurelia the Warleader, armed, and you have four extra turns. For extra extra turn lunacy, pop Ral Zarek at the end.
Right. Flicker Aurelia...Duh. Still, cloudshift and deadeye are no longer in standard.

He's got a very solid anti-abuse clause, but it still fails in the face of Yore-Tiller Nephilim and a sac outlet ;)

All beautiful abuse aside, provided you can protect him (hexproof please!) - two turns to your opponents one is going to win the game every time you get him out.
Convoluted in-set nearly-infinite turns in his colors:
-Have two Artisan of forms out and this guy. -Put a gift of immortality on each of the artisans, turning one into Medomai, sacrificing the actual one. Swing with him. -Extra turn, swing with the not-Medomai Artisan. Cast any instant you've got on it, sacrificing the old Medomai-Artisan, gift brings it back as a normal Artisan. -Next extra turn, rinse and repeat.
If you have Thassa, out, you can swing unblockable and make sure the next card is another instant.

I'm not sure as to how double strike's damage is calculated... if he gets double strike that allows you to take two extra turns?
Why has no one brought up Finest Hour? Fits perfectly with Medomai in a Bant deck

Huh, guys, why has no one mentioned Viridian Longbow yet? Infinite turns for {8}{u}{w}? Sign me up.

Nobody has mentioned it probably because the damage from Viridian Longbow isn't combat damage and won't trigger the extra turns.

You can get around the restriction by turning a creature into a copy of him after it attacks. Here's some fun ways to do that. Note that the new legend rule is very helpful in accomplishing this.
Volrath's Shapeshifter and Vesuvan Doppelganger are the easiest. All you need is a repeatable way to get Medomai or another creature back to your hand for Volrath's. For Vesuvan, you need is a repeatable way to get him onto the battlefield.
If you can get him out of the graveyard and onto the battlefield at instant speed (for example with Nighteyes the Desecrator), and Renegade Doppelganger and Shapesharer become viable options.
Guys, it says "Medomai the Ageless can't attack during extra turns." Meaning no matter how you got that extra turn and no matter when this particular Medomai appeared it can not attack during extra turns. Sacrificing it and bringing it back or cloudshifting it won't make that change. Unless there is something I'm missing I guess. Great card regardless.
EDIT: the Yore-Tiller Nephilim trick totally works however, since you are never actually declaring it as an attacker.
If I have Medomai out and play Clone attack with Medomai and the next turn can I attack with clone??? if not, Can I attack with both on my next combat and get 2 extra turns???

creatures called Medomai the Ageless can't atack on extra turns, not tokens, not clones (with some kind of mirror gallery), or so... Not even in extra turns caused by other cards like time stretch Yore-Tiller Nephilim would work because it puts Medomai Attacking, the attack by itself is not declared with Medomai so there is no problem. Try using any sacrifice cost to bring it with Yore-Tiller Nephilim in the extra turns.
Say I've got Medomai and Artisan of Forms on the battlefield. I have Medomai attack, and get an extra turn. On my extra turn, I declare Artisan of Forms as an attacker, and then in response to my own declaration, I cast a spell on her and copy Medomai. (Choosing the original to put into my graveyard as per the new legend rule.) Is that kosher?
If so, the next step is, in theory, to find a way to reliably cast two spells on the Artisan of Forms (Elite Arcanist exiling Triton Tactics lets me do that for two blue per turn, but now we're getting silly) and get Medomai back out of my graveyard onto the battlefield (so that the Artisan can copy him again) every turn. But if I can give both of them double strike (Fireshrieker, probably), then four turns in a row is probably enough of a win condition anyway.

An EDH with Medomai at the helm would be very interesting. If you're expecting to make use of his ability, and you should, then the deck would best be built to operate in a very unique way. That unique way is for the two turns you have each rotation to be split, and to essentially be extensions of a normal turn's phases...One turn is your combat phase/turn and the second is your post-combat main phase/turn. It's a somewhat odd means of play, but it works, and better yet, fits the flavor of Medomai...he slows down time to cause entire turns worth of time to be devoted to phases.
In non-EDH settings he's still pretty cool. A nice way to round out your curve, and who doesn't like extra turns? Plus, by the time you cast him (late game), the extra turns will have much more of an impact.

Mirror Gallery sounds absolutely rife with incredibly silly plays.
If you copy him with Sakashima, The Imposter you can potentially hit an opponent twice in a single attack, resulting in getting 2 extra turns.

I won my first booster draft tournament using this card. Using it... not playing it. I used Portent of Betrayal to borrow it from my opponent. My opponent voiced his displeasure at my move, but I figure since I had used it in the first game of the match he knew the risk of playing it.

Things to remember: He is Legendary, you can't have more than one. He can NOT attack during EXTRA turns. That doesn't mean if you flicker him he can attack again on the extra turn. ANY turn that is counted extra from your normal turn he can NOT attack on.

Unfortunately (Fortunately?), most of the ideas of getting extra turns via Copies and blinking do not actually work. The card itself states that Medomais cannot attack on extra turns. So even if you get another card that gives extra turns, then play a Medomai with haste (Hammer of Purphoros, for example), it still won't be able to attack. And the idea of copying it doesn't work, since legendary rule. However, double strike works :P, although if you really had a flying 8, you don't really need an extra turn to kill your opponent @drpvfx Oh god, good thing they didn't reprint that.

Absurd in a Rafiq of the Many EDH. Swing with Medomai and take two extra turns? And it gets even more ridiculous with Finest Hour. And so what if Medomai can't swing during those other turns - Rafiq is very capable of beating face himself, and getting potentially 4 turns and 8 attack steps to do so is usually plenty for you to win the game if you can give him a bit of evasion.

Steel of the Godhead meets it's perfect match. Then just give it the obvious double strike and some protection/shroud - well, you know. You'll be time trippin' while your friends hate you more and more. Can't wait to experiment with this guy some more. Who doesn't love Sphinxes?
If your opponent controls the Medomai, you'll need to find a way to make the Shapeshifter unblockable. Rogue's Passage maybe. Attack, then unmorph, copying Medomai. Begin your next turn, opting to turn the shapeshifter face down again. Repeat this for infinite turns.
If you control Medomai, the easiest way to so so is with some repeatable reanimation (Reya Dawnbringer for example) or to just play Mirror Gallery. Then the process is similar to the above one.

Put a Darksteel Mutation on it and move it before combat damage but after attacking? (Aura Finesse or whatever.)
You can break it, but its still interesting if you don't. Good commander material.
