Although I miss the old art, this one is pretty darn cool, too.

I don't like that they didn't use the old art.
I think this card is awesome, but it really sucks that it is just an infinite engine.

"And they told me Kamigawa Block was bad..."
@chainsmoker Sorry for being that guy, but it admittedly was if about 6% of the cards were great, 1% wasbroken, 33% were decent and yet about 60% was somewhere between "meh" and downright terrible.
It had various great rares and a couple of memorable uncommons like Ghostly Prison or Hinder, but there also were lots of weak cards.
Yeah, Kamigawa wasn't as bad as some make it out to be.
But i can understand those that didn't like that block because, sadly, none of the most memorable cards from this set were related to any of the actual themes this set had - (Splice onto) Arcane, Soulshift, Spiritcraft, Epic, Channel, Sweep, and Wisdom are all keywords that are barely remembered, or at least barely saw tournament play. Sure, there were a couple of good cards for each keyword. But none of the competetive decks specified in any of those themes.
Most of the Spirit and Arcane cards in particular - which made up a major part of the whole set - bear a lot of wasted potential. And all of Saviors of Kamigawa's minor themes were rather underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, it brought us some great cards (just like CoK or BoK) - there's Twincast, Erayo, Pithing Needle, Kataki, War's Wage, Promise of Bunrei, and some good uncommons like Hand of Honor and Hand of Cruelty...
But if the core part of the block that makes it unique - the special themes - is forgettable, then so is the block itself.
I do like many cards of the block - Kiki-Jike here included. I was also quite excited about most ideas Wiards came up with. But it was the execution that left me hanging...
Then again, Kamigawa came right after the Mirrodin block, and with that some of the most ridiculously broken decks in Standard in years. So my guess is, Wizards simply tweaked the majority of their cards a bit too much at that time, to make sure they wouldn't repreat that mistake immediately again.

The Akki are actually goblins with mentalities much like frat boys, didn't you know?

They pick the worse of the two available arts for this. Of course.

Kiki-Jiki, Toilet Breaker "I poop dragon fire!"
Great card but god I hate this art. Why didn't they use the original not-***-fire art?
5/5 For infinite combo goodness (my favorite kind)

@chainsmoker: Kamigawa block as a whole was terrible. Champions of Kamigawa was fantastic, one of the best sets ever. If you look at almost every decent, fun and flavourful card from Kamigawa, they were all from Champions. It was a great start that they didn't live up to.

Okay, just to put this argument to rest, Homelands was obviously the worst set ever. It has a total of five playable cards. And if you want to talk about constructed viable, exactly oneSerrated Arrows works in proliferate. As a slow counter engine.

I have a rules dispute! What if he creates a token, then he dies in the combat phase? Does the token still die?

@SirLibraryEater: Yes. Kiki-Jiki's ability persists even after death, so the token would be sacrificed at the end step.
