God, this card's name is fun to say.

Beautiful 1 or 2 drop enemy-board-wipe or enemy-weaken spell. Choose to take out one at gutshot price or get an earthquake-type effect for 2 that doesn't hurt you at all. All at instant speed. Great for drafts too.

5/5 for art, utility and cost effectiveness. And its a common. (O_o)

I feel like they costed a lot of U and R spells i RTR with copy effects in mind.

I didn't know Catweazle ended up on Ravnica! "Show me thine electrickery, Niv-Mizzet..."

Generally better than Simoon because it hits each creature your opponents control (plus much easier mana cost). And that's only one of the two modes.

A very cheap, yet effective card. Did I mention that i am a pro?

This will see play in every single Red mage's sideboard in Pauper as a replacement for Seismic Shudder, of which is now obsoleted. Generally, you'll only be using it against Storm decks anyhow, but you can't say no to a little versatility and a new way of dealing with turn-1 mana elves, delvers, etc. while still being able to have a one-sided boardwipe if necessary.

Gets rid of all those pesky saproling tokens? Can be a single sided board wipe with Death Pits of Rath? Has an awesome faerie firing lightning at things?

Playset time.

Sweet!! Something that can get rid Invisible Stalker in turn 2.

It makes me depressed that the closest reference to all the fairies in the Izzet guild we get in Return to Ravnica is this and Rakdos Ragemutt

I don't know if you guys noticed, but that faerie is jacked.

This card is admittedly not great, but I really like it with the Izzet Staticaster. Opponent board raping extravaganza.

You know what this does? Stops turn one gravecrawler turn two gravecrawler. Also lingering souls and gather townsfolk

Looks good to me :-)

Nice weenie sweeper for pauper.

Ehh. As a single target spell, it's not worth bringing up at all. As a overloaded spell, it's a faster but weaker Pyroclasm. Yes it wipes tokens, but so does Izzet Staticaster, which has mana-free activation on legs. I'm failing to see the potential in this.

Edit: Oh yeah, it can get around hexproof. Goblin Electromancer also makes the overload cost the same as the ordinary spell, which is actually pretty wonderful. I'd still usually take the Staticaster, but this is fine in an instant-centric deck.

This art reminds me of Jak and Daxter. I hope I'm not the only one.

The Overload is very useful for wiping out all the mana dorks in Standard in the first few rounds to delay ramp.

Is anyone ever actually going to cast this without the overload?

3/5. 1 damage for Red is not very efficient. Its overload cost of 1Red makes it a little better. RTR small removal pool makes this a standout in limited though. Outside of draft its useless.

A poor man's Pyroclasm at Instant for 1RedRed, which kills little hexproofers like Invisible Stalker and Silhana Ledgewalker. A great common and extremely Izzet in its flavor.

Looks like a fairy version of Chandra that actually gets to use her goggles...

Reads: 2 CMC, if target opponent is using a token deck, you win the game.

I keep two in the main and two in the sideboard.
Efficiency? For two mana you can deal one damage to every creature you don't own. This little inefficient spell can put some seriously early brakes on a cipher deck, most aggro decks, token decks, simic decks and weenie decks.
All the decks my Izzet deck would struggle against if I didn't keep these handy.

@sonorhC Maybe when you've got a teammate with a token deck?

Good for a sideboard -- can lay waste to saprolings / eldrazi spawn / many other tokens with ease. And any deck that runs a lot of replication can make good use of it for moderately cheap. I wouldn't want to run one in my main deck, though... plenty of other, better, mass burn spells out there.

Good sideboard card in a token mirror match. Unless they have some kind of +1/+1 buff.

Combine this with pyromancer's gauntlet for fun times.

A versatile little burn spell. This card is capable of frying someone's precious one-drop (I'm thinking Dryad Militant, Arbor Elf, Delver of Secrets, or even Dark Confidant here), becoming an early-game nuke against white weenies, faeries, goblins and the like without even touching your own field, and, what many people tend to miss, since there's no targetting in overload, this bare-butted Pixie can very well bump off, say, an Invisible Stalker or a Silhana Ledgewalker at instant speed, available for any deck that as much as splashes red.

Oh hey, it's also a dirt-cheap common, and legal in next to all big formats there are.

Good stuff. Wonder if she's a wee dragonaut? I too wish they had had more of the Izzet fairies in RtR, maybe replaced some of the goblins like the Electromancer with fae. Pity it didn't happen.
