Would be a nice addition to Recurring Nightmare/Survival of the Fittest arsenal.

at common this will show up at drafts a lot and will definitely frustrate bloodthirst drafters, which is probably what it is for. good thing there are indirect ways to get that important damage through.

Bounce, bounce, bounce.
In a deck dedicated to bouncing this will surely be a nice addition. Glimmerpoint Stag pops into mind as well as Venser, of course. It will be fun to see if anything will come of it in constructed.

This doesn't feel common at all. Hell's Caretaker combo? That might need two copies...

Mimic Vat and sundial of the infinite. Not only do they never get to attack again, but eventually you get to attack with 30 1/4s!
beats any mid to slow creature deck when combined with Venser. Hammers caw-blade, splinter twin, birthing pod, twinpod decks if they can't remove either card.

The next time they print a 1/4, you better bet it's going to combo well with Splinter Twin
THIS is a common? Wow.. The game has come a long long LOOOOONG way. 10 yrs ago, this would've started a war.. And then it would quickly end of course :D
I had this deck, every control player hated me because if I got this to resolve and either conjurer's closet or venser, the sojourner to go online there was no way I could lose. I will never underestimate a card that makes your opponents skip something ever again

This card makes me hate myself sometimes. Completely shuts down any combat-based deck that can't win by turn 3.

Question: say you have this card out with Isperia, Supreme Judge. if they attack and you cast Cloudshift is there a way to both draw your cards for each creature attacking and skip their combat step?
I guess in short what im asking is can you skip an opponents combat step during their combat step with this card and a Coudshift?

@onyx Well, it says next combat step, so if it was their combat step then, then they would skip their next one, so no.

The flavor of a dignitary's visit forcing a temporary truce kinda breaks down when you make him pop out of the Conjurer's Closet every turn like Phil the Groundhog to predict an endless dearth of combat.

Beautiful card, great deterrent against aggro decks with a meaty 4 toughness.

No combat phase? But I need to attack, He has Extort and the clock is ticking. The Blood Clock is ticking...Only 4 mana a turn and you never get attacked
My friend came up with an appropriate slogan: "A stone-horn A day keeps the bad-guys away"

I had a fatty green deck that keep ramping up damage every turn... and was about to lose to an opp with a 4/4 flier because his creatures had deathtouch.
On my last attack turn, I got sick of having to be stalled off to submission. So I put down this and roaring primadox. The opp basically forfeited the match by then.

OK everybody, this card is one of the more used win cons in my flicker deck. read deadeye navigator's effect. AND, stonehorns stack, so you flicker him in thrice in one turn, and for the next three turns they got no combat step. not to mention with deadeye both are a paaaaain to get rid of. "you doombladed my stonehorn? in response i flicker him, so not only does your spell fizzle, you also miss another combat step. so, what, that the next five turns now?"
even without deadeye, a simple once a turn flicker shuts down a LOT of decks. (conjurer's closet, restoration angel, nephalia smuggler, you get the idea)

No idea what to rate this, maybe 3/5 with big combo potential?
Suprisingly complex for a common, too.
I accept your surrender.
