Muraganda really needs to be the Plane we go to next, right after Shandalar, from all the references we've had :P

Soooooo much fun. I run Mimeoplasm dredge EDH that focuses on self and opponent mill to increase graveyard sizes. With that much control over what you put out on the table, things get absurd quickly. Triskelion is too easy, and everyone sees it coming by now. Fatten up the 'yards and then use Timmyplasm to clone Necrotic Ooze or Cairn Wanderer. The greatest strength of this guy is he is versatile enough to hit the table and respond to any situation.

Keep up this unprecedented long-stay in the Hall-O-Fame! Hey, can you name any other general that goes good with a side of Birthing Pod in the deck? -Great addition to Damia, Sage of Stone -Enjoy the "Solid State" while it lasts there Muddy Buddy

This creature is so well-loved, nobody even complains that he took up precious reprint space in Commander's Arsenal. :)
The possibilities aren't quite endless, but there are currently at least 44 million possible combos to try (15 million if you're using Mimeoplasm as your Commander and can't play black or red creatures).
So, this and the new Fathom Mage from Gatecrash. Exile Fathom Mage and Death's Shadow. Congratulations, you just paid five mana for a 14/14, and drew 13 cards in the process.
@ SyntheticDreamer, That won't work. Mimeoplasm "enters the battlefield" with the counters from Death's Shadows. They don't count towards Fathom Mage's triggered abbility, since they aren't considered to be 'placed on' the creature, so no 13 card draw. You still get a 14/14 for 5 mana though.
EDIT: @ AeroSigma: I'm not sure why they wouldn't be placed on the creature. When you drop Planeswalkers, you place counters on them. Check out the rulings:
If Fathom Mage enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it (perhaps due to Master Biomancer), its last ability will trigger once for each +1/+1 counter it entered the battlefield with.
Correct me if I'm missing something obvious, but I think it works. Also, I already mentioned Prime Speaker Zegana.

@aero, Synthetic & j_mindfinger:
Fathom mage will work with this card and the counters, it says so right on the gatherer page under rulings. Please make sure you check/know ruling before correcting someone incorrectly(lookin at you AeroSigma, the rulings were posted BEFORE your post about how it wouldn't work)
T3: Pod T4: either play the fathom mage or search for the fathom mage by saccing a 3cmc creature T5: play mimeo or sac the fathom mage to look for him. Hopefully you have some big creature to exile T6: Play Death's Presence or something? then when you sac the mimeo you can put those counters to work on another fathom mage or something that's gonna do more work!!
WIP for that decklist... i just saw the poor rulings discussion and figured i'd clear it up once and for all!!

So tasty to eat Zegana. You gets the +1/+1 counters for the other creature you eat, and more +1/+1 counters if you have a creature in play. The most I drew without decking myself was 47 cards. Awww yeah.

My favorite pairing when I had him as my general was Kodama of the North Tree and Death's Shadow. 19/17 Shroud and Trample made some people unhappy.

For how much this card entices the imagination, and for how fun it was picking a toolbox of creatures while building my deck, I'm surprised at how often I wind up with the exact same Mimeoplasm (Pathrazer of Ulamog + Death's Shadow). When I'm casting Buried Alive, there's very little reason to say no to a 22/22 annihilator 3 that demands a triple-chump-block; surviving that attack is usually a 6-for-1. I have a tendency to spend a few turns dicking around with my graveyard and then swing for a one-shot kill. As someone who likes a close game more than a blowout victory, this disappoints me.
The real fun of The Mimeoplasm comes from when things don't work out perfectly. When you have to find a way to get those last few points of commander damage through, and your best stuff has been exiled, and you're pawing through everyone's graveyards to find two creatures to melt together to get the job done. My favorite was when I finished off a Kaalia deck my smooshing an Akroma, Angel of Wrath and an Akroma, Angel of Fury into a ball o' ***ed-off angel. That's what a good Magic game is made of.
I'd also like to note that this is both my most powerful EDH deck, and the only one that's never won a free-for-all game. I pretty much always just kill one person, then get pummeled into oblivion before I can untap. I'm not complaining, I'd do the same if I were my friends, but just wanted to drop a word of warning to anyone planning to build a deck around him. He's significantly better in 1v1.

this copying nether traitor and getting +1 +1 counters from lord of extinction.
I hate getting milled and having my stuff stolen and exiled, so my Mimeoplasm EDH deck focuses on self-mill rather than milling others. Also one of the best combos with Mimeoplasm I've found to be Kederekt Leviathan. Casting The Mimeoplasm in and exiling the Leviathan and maybe a Mortivore or Lord of Extinction will leave you with a huge threat on a clear board, leaving your opponent scrambling for removal spells.

@MrFreshnessTimmy: You're wrong. Mimeoplasm uses the root "mimeo" ("to copy"; from Greek "mimeomai" = "I imitate"), which is pronouced as "mim-e-oh". See also the real word "mimeograph" (mim-e-oh-graf): http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/mimeograph?s=t

If I had to make an ideal variant of this beastly ooze monstrosity, I'd want Death's Shadow for the power and toughness, and Cairn Wanderer for the abilities.

As my first, and most worked-on (read: pimped out), EDH deck, I really enjoy Mims (as I call him). I generaly just use good stuff, and focus more on living death/living end as a win con than Mims himself. I am not hating on anyone's deck, but I feel as though the Blighted Agent + Fat dude route is too basic and a bit cheap. Again, well with in your right to play him this way, I just prefer the more randomness of the deck with out a "go to" plan such as that. Def a great card in and of itself, lots of fun indeed. 5/5

I run him with a load of unblockable creatures and janky stuff like Phyrexian Dreadnought. A 19/19 Ghastlord of Fugue? Yes please!
This guy is one way to make a Biomancer with high power...
PS- Just use Prime Speaker Zegana, you'll get 14 + X card draw

Anyways, now that that is cleared up... I'd personally like to use this guy in a birthing pod deck, of course with copies of fathom mage, prime speaker zegana and a few more things to keep it rolling... Mulch, grizzly salvage, Rot Farm Skeleton, Varolz, the Scar-Striped, etc...
