I pulled this guy during draft and I started calling him Scrat, after that acorn crazy sabertooth squirrel from Ice Age. I mean, how is this guy a horror? He looks like something that tries to crawl up your pant leg looking for nuts.

Usually, I don't like cards that rely on graveyards, especially with all the graveyard hate in Ravnica in response to Innistad, But dat bestow cost tho. Bestow is a really great mechanic, because it gives you an enchantment and makes(in this case) any creature into a fatty, and you get another slightly smaller fatty when that one dies, and it's an enchantment the whole time to fuel Sphere of Safety and Ethereal Armor.

Hold on a minute… It says Nighthowler AND Enchanted Creature EACH get +×/+×. Does that mean you get DOUBLE the +1/+1 counters because you’re counting the creature cards in the graveyard for the enchanted and Nighthowler at the same time?

A cool thought is that as long as you bestow it, even if there are no creatures in any graveyard it will always be at least a 1/1 when it falls off.

Can work with blue/black mill where you turn two Breaking, or in green/black stuff like Drown in Filth. Even stuff like Tome scour and Mind Grind.

Used this in booster draft today, absolute bomb. Won me three games just by itself with a combat trick or two after it had been bestowed. Took first cuz of this guy.
This is the best enchantment creature in terms of its bestow cost. One extra colorless? Hell yeah I wanna give that to someone. Personally, I like to put this on Jace's Phantasm, since fliers in mill are few and far, and it doesn't scale like Wright or Consuming Aberration

Beautiful and deadly, might go unnoticed in a multiplayer game until someone realizes it's EACH PLAYER and then they look at your graveyard and realize you're playing some good ole standard dredge...because of course you are with this guy right?
