I guess animate dead is a bit more efficient, but not standard legal, if that matters.

Spellbound Dragon attacks, you discard this, next turn u unearth it... yeah yeah, even I can hear the "removal-on-that-thing-NOW-!!!". W/E, nice card beyond its casting cost; it's unearth REALLY pays off.

Has the benefit of being a total ally/token obliterator. Drop this thing after someone has played a Howl of the Night Pack and watch them weep openly.
Veeery expensive to get out there, but with a fairly powerful effect.

I think this plus Extractor Demon is a Great play. Because Extractor doesn't say to the graveyard. So your opponent will end up Milling for each creature bounced back into everyone's hands.

It's a lot of mana, but this, then Biorhythm. I want to win a game that way SO bad. Especially in multiplayer.

I GOTS A QUESTION!!!
if i put it into play via Tooth and Nail or Ma ss Polymorph, would the other creatures u brought out that way be returned to hand too?

I like the guy, but I wish it had cooler art/alt art. Right now it just looks like an Island during a storm, not a monsterous sea beast. For all we know, it could just be a grey iceburg. Even if it's going for the whole "dark and mysterious sea demon" approach, the card art should at least show a bit more neck; how do we even know what part of it we're looking at?

Nickkom, I think by doing that, you would just exile the leviathan and return all other creatures to their hands.
You play it, so everything is gone.
You ring it, it leaves play.
You ring the ring, the first ring leaves play, meaning the leviathan comes back into play, returning the second ring to your hand, returning the original to play to select another nonland permanent (It has to be the leviathan because it's the only thing on the field). No creatures, permanents, or enchantments. Just lands are left in play.

sick hypergenesis combo with this and terastodon (and clone) - kill their lands then bounce the elephants you made with the terastodon leaving a lone leviathan on board and elephants in your hand ready for the next hypergenesis.

I get the feeling this is by far the last thing you would want to see while sailing in Grixis. Though, why you would be sailing in Grixis is beyond anyone's guess in the first place. Scary, scary zombie leviathan.
This in a jhoira edh deck with other giant creatures, it comes into play first then your other suspended giants, they have haste, they swing, they kill, you dominate.
I have a Reanimator Combo deck with this for stop my opponent. How? Simply: Put Kederekt Leviathan in your graveyard. Than cast Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead on it. When the leviathan enters the battlefield returns all non-land permanents to its owners hand, including the Animate Dead. Then the kederekt Leviathan dies.
You can do this infinitely and stop your opponent until you draw what you want. Remember that your opponent can exile it with some instant spell like Path to Exile in response to the leviathan's ability before he dies.. But well, there's no problem for your Duress ;)
If you can cast creatures at instant speed, say with Prophet of Kruphix, Leyline of Anticipation, Quicksilver Amulet, etc., this is an incredible reset button. You could argue that an overloaded Cyclonic Rift at 6U is more favorable to your position, but I'd argue that at least some of the time you don't have a position to protect when casting the Rift anyway. This way you are always getting a 5/5 sea monster after casting.
