remember the old saying 'reduce, reuse, recycle?'

here's another one: 'Entomb, Exhume, expire'

DarthParallax:

Heyo!

I kinda would've liked new at for this...maybe some badass black magus pulling a huge titan from the ground? Not even one of the M11 titans...something scary as shit, like a Sphinx of the Steel Wind or Verdant Force (to keep it in-deck).

I'm a relatively new player, having started around Time Spiral, and I never had a chance to play with a set of Exhumes before. I had an idea of how it would go, but I never saw it first hand.

Having played with it, I want whatever Wizards R&D was smoking when they put this at common, because the craziness of Exhume makes me trip balls, which I assume is a contact high from the developers.

Urza's block by far contains the most powerhouse cards of any block in Magic's history. And it is appropriate, given it's namesake.

You cannot use either of those cards for an Entomb combo because they reshuffle your graveyard into the library when sent to the graveyard from anywhere. Not sure if you were trolling, but if you were, 8/10 because I took you seriously.

"We are eternally greatful!"

What? That wasn't a dumb, childish, Toy Story reference because of the claw thing. No...

"What's that? You DON'T have an It That Betrays in your graveyard? Well, I guess I'll play this then."

I actually had to cut this from my pauper cube because it's the ONLY card ever printed at common that can reanimate fatties. Most kitchen-sink cubes (everything goes in) get access to way more of these effects, which makes Re-animator a viable draft archetype. But having only such effect in a 360-card pauper cube means that a would-be necromancer can't count on seeing them during a draft, nor can he rely on drawing that one card from his deck during a game.

I'm probably the only one here who wants to see Wizards print another common similar to this card.

Imagine you used a Life's Finale and searched your opponent's deck for Phage and two other cards. Then you used 2Vile Rebirths. And then you use this.

How are people getting Progenitus/Emrakul out with this? That does not work.

Progenitus can't even enter the graveyard, and Emrakul needs to either be reanimated at instant speed (in response to his triggered ability) or the triggered ability needs to be stifled.

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!

...Come on now, I can't be the only one that thinks of Altered Beast whenever someone plays a card like this.
