This has to be the most broken combo card of all time, aside from the obvious Godsire/Master transmuter combos this card creates I prefer to use it with forbidden orchard and ley druid to ramp up alot of mana, give my opponent alot of creature and then drop a netherborn phalanx, Nobody sees that coming!

wow I almost never hear anyone talk about this extended deck that I use and it does so well. W/U control, win condition is infinite mill. Drowner of secrets, stonybrook schoolmaster, intruder alarm. tap schoolmaster, mill a card, get a 1/1, untap, repeat =)

I would bet that 1/2 of all infinite comboes have something to do with this card o_o

For infi combos this card gets a 5. For fairness id rate this card in the negatives. I personally like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Horde of Boggarts + Intruder Alarm. Maybe throw in Wake Thrasher for more hillarity. Seriously though... Intruder Alarm should have been printed as nothing more than a joke.
Back in the day I ran this in a non-infinate type-II deck with Prodigal Sorecerers, Roo***er Hunters and Suq-Ata Firewalkers. You play a creature? Sure: I'll ping it into death.
Then I found Shrieking Drake and Sea Scryer and the deck went to hell in a handbasket.
Not infinite, but fun as hell, particularly if you use Sphinx Summoners to put more artifacts in your hand.

Here's another combo: Stonybrook Schoolmaster+Patron Wizard+Intruder Alarm. On your turn, if the field is safe, attack with everything, cause a 1/1 wizard to come into play, untapping everything. On opponent's turn, if they try to play a spell, tap schoolmaster to counter unless they pay 1, causing a 1/1 to enter, untapping everything. In otherwords, counter all spells your opponents play for the rest of the game unless they pay an infinite amount of mana.

Act Of treason and this and anything equals infinite creatures. team up with like soul warden and youve got infinite life
Not a competitive deck, but a funny one with friends... Intruder Alarm is one of my favorite non-broken combo card ever, and I think is complicate for Wizard to reprint it in Core set...

@Azazel: It would be infinite if you had infinite/huge amounts of mana (i.e. Tolarian Academy) and two 0 costers, just repeatedly bounce them...not sure if that would do much, storm is the only thing I can think of, but (correct me if I'm wrong) you would have to cast it, not put it into play...though I'm sure there's a way
What the hell? I always thought that this cost 3UU. I guess my brain was trying to trick me into thinking that infinite combos with anything made it cost a lot.
HEY PEOPLE WHY DON'T U JUST PLAY THRABEN DOOMSAYER, WHOSE A THREE DROP CRETURE THAT KEEP ON PRODUCING 1/1'S SO WITH THIS CARD INFINITE 1/1'S:)

@ObsessedAddict: Wouldn't half of all infinite combos still be an infinite number of them? O_o

@Grimn777 I use the same U/W control deck, and as a tip, put 4 Azami, the Lady of Scrolls in. Schoolmaster+Alarm+Azami gives you infinite draw, then just draw most of your deck and play a drowner to mill them the same turn.
This is the card that awakened my inner Johnny. Like some of you, I have spent a lot of time searching on the internet and by myself ideas to fuel the posibilities. What I use with mine (was standard legal at the time mind you) : Wirewood Channeler and Centaur Glade. And in the same deck there's also Pemmin's Aura (for the channeler....yeah) - I know that this idea was on the building on a budget section, some 9-10 years ago, but still, it was my very first infinite combo. Just thinking about it makes me smile and feel very nostalgic...

I was in a multiplayer game where someone was about to use this to generate infinite 1/1 tokens. Someone else equipped a lowly creature with a Viridian Longbow. I realized that the creature equipped with the Longbow will untap as soon as the first 1/1 token enters the battlefield, infinitely trumping the infinite tokens.

This card is so combotastic that it combos with Chimney Imp.
By far not the best combo, but these were the cards I had, and it was fun finding something that worked within my age-old collection.

Good with Karametra's Acolyte, Soul of the Harvest, Arbor Colossus, extra ramp and Mind Spring. I once played about half of the non-land cards in my deck in one turn with that combo. Also, you can replace the Mind Spring with Braingeyser and mill your opponent to death with all the ramp you get from the combo. Please correct me if you disagree.
@ObsessedAddict There are a finite number of infinite combos(I think), so half the infinite combos would still be finite.

Intruder Alarm + Opalescence + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Break gives you infinite Intruder Alarms that can attack as 3/3s. It even curves into your 3rd, 4th and 5th turns respectively.
T1, swamp. T2, island, dark ritual, Bloodline Keeper, T3, swamp, intruder alarm, tap BK to bring out a 2/2 flyer, untapping him: Repeat T4: Attack or troll...doesn't matter at that point. :D

Turn 3: Intruder Alarm
Turn 4: Swing for game.

Proceed to win with any infinite mana finisher (Banefire, Blue Sun's Zenith) or for hilarity, Massacre Wurm.

There are so many infinite combos possible with this card that it's just silly.
T3 this
T4 Bloodline Keeper.
Or
T2 Kazandu Tuskcaller
T3 this
T4 x2 level up counters.
