I love effects that are just bonus, and double Glorious Anthem is one hell of a give.

The token production is useful in limited but he's probably just going to end removal in the same way Mayor of Avabruck typically does. Also suffers from Fateful Hour-itis; Bashing for six damage isn't very difficult mid to late game which is when this card would be most useful.
I can't see him in constructed.

Wins drafts singlehandedly - although he doesn't mind help from Niblis of the Breath either! Was incredibly lucky to pull this P1P1 in a triple DKA draft.
Of course, he really shines when you're in Fateful Hour range - which, to my surprise, turns out to be a well-designed mechanic (in my opinion), creating lots of tension and swingy finishes.

A few ideas concerning the flavour of his fateful hour effect: 1) He has a change of heart at the last minute and decides to resume his career as a motivational speaker. 2) People finally heed his words and look to save themselves, rather than hoping for a saviour. They could perceive their plight as Avacyn testing their faith and that true faith is not passive hope, but resolution. "Act not because your god has abandoned you, but with the reassurance that she watches over us still." 3) If he's helping the monsters, well he's basically a negative Nancy.

Ridiculous synergy for a R/W weenie deck, consider him with any or all of of Vigilante Justice, Cathars' Crusade, Mentor of the Meek, Goldnight Commander, etc. Tap to generate a 1/1, deal 1 damage, pump all your creatures and draw a card for cheap? The Fateful Hour ability is just the icing on the cake.

The flavor in this is awesome! A crowd gathers around him as he spouts his liturgies (he's busy screaming, so he taps) as the crowd gathers if it turns out that his proclaimed doom was correct (you're about to die) then the crowd is inspired to great acts of heroism.
