This is much better than it seems. It can often produce a ton of mana, and it can come out turn 3 with a mana dork such as Elvish Mystic. At 4 toughness, it is out of bolt range, or in standard, Lighting Strike. This is very strong in a mono-green deck with Polukranos, World Eater and green heavy cards like Kalonian Tusker.

Green, ramp me a river.
Glad this card is seeing some appreciation, it was almost ignored when spoiled.

Dude... what?
Let's assume you've only been playing cards that contribute {G} each turn. She drops with {T} add {G}{G}{G}{G} to your mana pool.
Wow.

Nice, nice, very nice. I wonder if this will fit into my Jund dragons casual deck...(xenagos is definitely going in).

Turn 1, forest, play something like Experiment One Turn 2, forest or mountain, Burning Tree-Emissary into Zhur-Taa Druid Turn 3, land, Karametra's Acolyte tapping for Turn 4 you have 9 mana before even playing a land and at least 3 cards in hand.
Alternatively: Turn 1, forest, Elvish Mystic Turn 2, forest or mountain, Burning-Tree Emissary and... Bow of Nylea, Domri Rade, Witchstalker, Boon Satyr? Turn 3, land, Acolyte tapping for . So... Y'know, 11 mana if you have another land in hand (10 if you played Domri). 14 if that land is Nykthos, shrine to Nyx, which can also get away with being your third land. On turn 4.
She seems pretty damn impressive considering that's mostly just throwing her in as an extra part to my current standard deck's engine.

Bit of an odd self-feeding not-quite-a-loop situation if you can get this and Khalni Hydra into play at the same time.

You know, between this guy and Nykthos, I believe a Helix Pinnacle deck is in order.

I guess he is ok in limited, but best in Commander decks. Though even year it's not quite reaching the power of certain other ramp cards, due to only working in mono green, being quite slow and vulnerable.

Obligatory Primalcrux and Khalni Hydra links. Especially Khalni Hydra. Damn that's nasty.
Now for the remaining 8-10 cards, insert your favorite fatties or giant spells, doesn't even matter which color since this deck has 5-color support (and room for shocklands). If it is too big for this deck, it just can't be played anywhere. Or go even further with Triton's Tactic untap shenanigans and try to generate 22 mana for an X = 20 Clan Defiance.
We all know what you can do with this in standard, but imagine.... this thing is hypothetically playable in modern. Green Demands more hard mana than any other color, and this gives you access to all of it. Leatherback Baloth. Primalcrux. Khalni Hydra. Deus of Calamity and any other Shadowmoor Demigod that supports green. You can use these things and other, smaller mana dorks to ramp out all of the above, then drop an Eldrazi Titan like Emerakul, a seriously pumped Primordial Hydra, A Gelatinous Genesis unlike anything ever seen by non-infinite decks, and pump an Omnath to the size of texas. Throw in a few Asceticisms to protect your stuff and away you go.

Personally, I'd prefer if it said something like "half the devotion rounded up/down" and it cost only 2, at most 3 mana. When i get to 4 mana, it feels like i should start playing something more effective, instead of still be ramping

Will get some insane ramp in monogreen, considering the amount of creatures with multiple in their mana cost you get out in the early game. Easily a 4-of.
Compare to the flavor text of Voyaging Satyr, and look at the pictures. The Satyr druid steals the human druid's fruit. But, then again, she obviously has plenty even if she notices in the illustration the conspicuous absence of some of it. Wizards did a nice job on the dialogue between the two cards. I think the buildings in the backgrounds may be the same, too.

my issue is it comes out too late. too slow, id rather play a deadbridge or polukranos *or* Nylea. in mono green, you want to drop the beaters around that time.
Kind of like the higher-cost, totally insane, mono-green cousin of Bloom Tender

WotC was very cautious with green's devotion cards, when at the same time they released the absurd Gray Merchant of Asphodel as a common! I think this might be constructed playable in cc 1GG, but now it is overcosted.

It's a little pricey for where many people want to be at with ramp but if you stop ramping by 4 mana you might be sitting on those lovely 6-15cmc cards longer than you would like.
