Super powerful card in the right deck. Less than useless in the wrong one.

Conspiracy + Sporoloth Ancient + Sporesower Thallid and you have a growing army of fungus that creates more of itself, constantly. Use with Doubling Season for added effect. Just make sure to declare that all of your creatures are to become Fungi; essentially, your Saprolings will create more Saprolings.
It won't work with Turntimber because scout or ally isn't a card type, only Elf. Wirewood Hivemasterwould be a nice choice....

wow, with Turntimber ranger thats brutal, that would work with Wirewood Hivemaster too. well I know my next deck, thanks ragamander klesk, make all creatures allies for Turntimber ranger, his wolfs become allies creating other wolf allies indefinitely.

Could you use Conspiracy and call Elf, then use Nissa Revane's "all elf" ability to pull all creatures from your library into play?

Bala Ged Thief + Nath of the Gilt-Leaf + Conspiracy = All opponents discard their hand during your upkeep and any time you play a creature, and you get a 1/1 Elf Ally for each card discarded.
Since you're already using B + G, may as well throw in Turntimber Ranger. As mentioned, that + conspiracy = infinite (or arbitrarily large) number of wolf allies.
Throw in the 2 uncommon B & G allies from ZEN, and now you're draining life & killing fliers along with it.
This sure sounds like a fun casual multiplayer deck. Going to throw in some Essence Wardens & Megrims to act as lures for spot removal as everybody I play has (justifiably) mad hate for those cards.
Other fun things to use with Conspiracy: Haakon, Stromgald Scourge Any sliver Any lord with a potent ability.
crenel's combos sound right up my ally-- err I mean alley. :)

Why Ally´s? I would uses this card against a sliver deck. Much better because ally´s only target the controller of the creature that comes in play and so this Ally´s are useless, slivers have global abilities.
Does this work with Broodwarden? If everything I have are Eldrazi already, can I add Spawn to their creature type?
syrazemyla
☆☆☆☆☆ (0.0/5.0)
@blindthrall: No, because it would need to have both the Eldrazi type and the Spawn type, and when Conspiracy is in play, it replaces the types, not adds to them.
Conspiracy with spawn from awakening zone changing all spawns to allies?

Pretty sure Turntimber Ranger wouldn't work. Conspiracy affects creature CARDS you own, creature SPELLS you control, and creatures already in play. A wolf token coming into play is none of those things. Unlike a creature card or spell, a token doesn't exist in any game zone except the battlefield and in any form except as a permanent - all that exists until then is the Ranger's triggered effect on the stack, which Conspiracy does not affect. Once the token hits the battlefield it will indeed become an ally, but then it's already be too late to trigger comes-into-play ally effects. Also would not work with Wirewood Hivemaster because it specifies that it only triggers on NONTOKEN elves coming into play. Basically, token generators are not the way to go if you're trying to combo this card. Plenty of other uses though. Sorry to burst everyone's bubble.

★★★★☆ (4.8/5.0)(2 votes)
@achilleselbow: I does, Conspiracy creates a continuous effect that affects everything in play. Continuous effects that modify the properties of a permanent, start modifying it as soon as the spell (a.k.a. soon-to-be-permanent-spell) resolves and is about to hit the battlefield, thus making the wolves come into play as wayward adventurers instead of wood-dwelling beasts.
Force of Savagery is a card that would be impossible to use if it didn't work this way

Wirewood Hivemaster doesn't work. Although you can make the token an elf, it will still be a token, and you need a non-token elf to come in. Still, very interesting card.

@rctoons: Artifact is a card type.
Could you choose mountain? Since you have Creature cards with subtype Forest (Dryad Arbor), you could feasibly argue that they're creature types too...
if so, Valakut.
@Havens: Sure, but why bother when you can just pump your deck full of actual dragons?
5/1/2007 Forest is a land type. Dryad is a creature type.

Will this affect creature cards I own that aren't on the battlefield, such as my tradefolder? I wanna name Bringer and use Spawnspire of Ulamog to drop them all for cheaps.
I'd like to throw together a casual Grixis-coloured deck that includes Bazaar Trader, Donate, this, and Plague Sliver. It will use Propaganda to hold off attacks, and Forbidden Orchard to up their Sliver-count, and the trader to give away the slivers if it becomes critical. And while it will be the most useless thing I've ever put together, it might just be the most fun.
With Propaganda and Conspiracy together, I'll name the deck "Fox News: Obama is Secretly a Sliver"

No one's mentioned Coat of Arms yet? Sure, it affects your opponents' creatures as well, but at this point, particularly if you've planned for it, you're in a far better position they are.

Yes, this is a Johnny card. What I never seem to get is why this couldn't have costed three, in which case it would make a good Johnny-Spike card... Players like me try this out, get turned off by the cost and never look back.
Does this card add the named creature type to whatever a creature already is, or does it replace the original creature type

I can see one potential downside to playing this: By the way the rules text is worded, all of your creatures are "the chosen type," not "the chosen type in addition to its other types."
Of course, that's just going off of the wording, so it might just add that type to its subtypes.

I'd love to campaign against you once I rebuild my Lightning Angel backed Boros surprise.
Wondering... If I use this in an almost all-black deck carrying 10x Relentless Rats, Nightmare(s), samurai and Black Knights, would it be to my advantage to name all creatures (present and future) as Rats (and is there a +1/+1 granting Rat Lord)?

kinda obvious, but name zombie then play rooftop storm. yes, i would like to play griselbrand for 0 mana on turn 6, draw 14 cards for 14 life and cast all creatures drawn for free (should be a good 5-6, 8-9 if your lucky/have a creature heavy deck). oh, and any zombie lords you may have will affect all your creatures (i am looking at you, diregraf captain).
i think i just worked out why my friends dont like to play against me.

I believe the point of this card was to make mercenaries not suck (by allowing you to tutor up good creatures with the mercenaries). Well that didn't quite work but at least we got a cool card out of the deal.
Does this let two Resto Angels infintely flicker each other if you choose something other than angel? Might be a good combo with a Warstorm Surge type effect? Idk... handy card tho.

Question. If I play this card, and Call Dragon, then use Scion of the Ur Dragon sending Progentius to grave (obvi it goes back to the deck) does Scion actually BECOME the Hydra?
Step 1: Fill a bucket with creature cards. Step 2: Play Conspiracy naming Eldrazi. Step 3: Play Spawnsire of Ulamog. Step 4: Scrounge up the mana for Spawnsire's cost ability. Step 5: Dump your bucket of Eldrazi all over the kitchen table. Step 6: Giggle maniacally to yourself as your Mom makes you clean up.

Ok, I just wanna point this out before m14 comes out; Conspiracy + Xathrid Necromancer will allow you to create zombie tokens when your zombie tokens die, if you declare "human" as the type when Conspiracy comes into play. As long as the Necromancer is protected, and Conspiracy remains in play, you can have an infinite amount of tokens die. This can be bonkers in casual with cards like Bloodthrone Vampire, and with Blasting Station you have an infinite damage combo: Play Necromancer. Play Conspiracy, declare humans, and have ANY other creature on the field. Play Blasting Station, tap it, sacrifice the other creature to deal one damage to your opponent. Since it's a human, a zombie token enters the battlefield. Blasting Station untaps since a creature came into play; sacrifice the zombie token to Blasting Station. Since it's a human, another zombie token will come into play tapped. Blasting Station untaps, and you can sacrifice the new human-zombie token. Repeat until opponent(s) are dead. (also works with Blood Artist and Bloodthrone Vampire) Ok, I think I just found my favorite stupid deck ever.

Turn Shadowborn Apostle into: ": Sacrifice six Shadowborn Apostles: Search your library for a Creature and put it onto the battlefield" if you choose demons...
@Kelptic You can use Scion's ability as many times per turn as you want, you just have to use them all at the same time in response to each other. They all go on the stack and will resolve so you can send as many cards to the grave as you want, however Scion will end up being a copy of the first creature actually targeted. Whether there's a state check in between each ability resolving, and checking who is actually attacking, I don't know, but I don't think so.
@ VampireBlood Yes, Scion will be a copy until end of turn. The copy effect isn't dependent on the card staying in the graveyard.

Conspiracy + Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero + literally any creature with trample, haste, and a nice hefty attack power. You can pull out Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero (or if Conspiracy is in play anything) with Amrou Scouts, Blightspeakers, Defiant Falcons, Defiant Vanguards, Ramosian Captains, Ramosian Lieutenants, Ramosian Sergents, or Ramosian Sky Marshals. Really the deck sets itself up for some fantastic plays and runs just fine as white/black. Best of all is that almost all of it plays within block.
that would work with Wirewood Hivemaster too.
