I'm always running out of these things. They work well in so many decks. I love burn-the-world attrition decks, and this keeps me ahead of my opponents while they are struggling under the weight of spiteful visions and manabarbs. But sometimes they are just a 1/1 and five life for .

If you have this and Mycoloth out at the same time, and Mycoloth has a big amount of tokens, you would have a hard time losing.
then again, if you add in Doubling Season, along with a way to consistantly add +1/+1's to your fatty... yeah.

Saproling deck with this + soul warden = I rarely feel a need to block during a match. So strong. Boon Reflection doesn't hurt with'em either.

I simply love these things! I run four of them in my token deck. It is not rare for me to get over 20 life out of one Essence Warden. With some tokens and Rhys the Redeemed out, lifegain will really get out of control after a couple of turns.

I like this. I think it has potential in many different decks, like Elf tribal, even, if you go for token generating abilities.
