Too bad Samurai are mostly only 2 colors. I'm using him as a cheap Legendary Samurai and his Ability as a bonus for a duo color deck. Also, get some Cloudpost.

Say what you will, but with Conspiracy and this, you can hardcast Progenitus for {10} instead of {W}{W}{U}{U}{B}{B}{R}{R}{G}{G}
Thank God they didn't use this art for Toshiro, that would've been such a downser. Toshiro needed badass art and he GOT badass art.

I run him in my mono-white samurai deck simply because he's so efficient. A 2 mana 2/1 with Bushido 1 is a deal, and being that he's legendary he can hold Konda's Banner and beef up all my Konda's Hatamoto. Even without the second ability, you get a little more than what you par for.

Really like the art on this one. Also, if you find you can't find enough traditional Samurai to fill the roles he is offering then shoot for some creatures with Changeling.
