Lotus cobra + azusa, turn 1 play a land and birds of paradise, turn 2 play a second land and lotus cobra, turn 3 play a third land, and azusa lost but seeking, then play two more lands from your hand with her ability, giving you another 3, and then go nuts with cards like harrow or if you have a fetch land as one of your 2. Could play like a 10 mana card on turn 3.

t1: birds t2: cobra then play fetch giving you 3 mana to play azusa. Play two more fetches giving you a total of 6 mana and play baneslayer angel. seems pretty good
I combined this with exploration, armageden and cruciple of worlds for some absolutely nasty results

Good with landfall, but quickly becomes less potent once all you play all your lands in your hand.

Some might not say the best for landfall, but splice in blue and some Ovinomancer and actually have 3 lands to play a turn in your hand? Yes pleas?

On par with the Oracle, with the difference just being if an Oracle is in play, playing Azusa is stricly better.
I would run 2 of each in a landfall deck. 4.5/5

Azusa mixed with Soratami anything is vicious...
Also, she's great with the double lands from Ravnica or a Khalni Gem, making them juicy in a non-landfall oriented deck.

Combine this card with Crucible of Worlds with Strip Mine.
This is hell, for anyone else, whether in 1 vs1 game, or any game that involves multiple players.

This with Land Tax is amazing for acceleration. Turn 1, Land Tax. Turn 3, Azusa, and drop two more lands. You can now drop 3 lands a turn for the rest of the game.

Turn 2: Any basic land, this. Island, Hedron Crab, terramorphic expanse, then another island. Mill for 6 cards.
Turn 3: Crucible of Worlds, Amulet of Vigor, Hedron Crab, tap/sac Hickory, play terramorphic again. grab another island, play another Hedron Crab. Play terramorphic again, grab another island, play another Hedron crab. Play terramorphic again. Another land. Mill for a total of 70 cards. Win = Yes.
Cards needed in hand: Hickory Woodlot, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Terramorphic Expanse, Island, Crucible of Worlds, Amulet of Vigor, Hedron Crab x 4 (10 total cards)

interresting aspect for an EDH mana ramp with her, you would prefer things that put lands to your hand, unlike the normal preferance. Also, draw like harmonize would be preferable to normal mana ramp in said deck. Seer's Sundial and horn of greed work well

With the play you decribed on turn three on the draw you would only have 9 cards at that time
You now have one card in hand, if you are "going crazy" like you mentioned I sure hope it isn't with a Harrow.

Works very well with Future Sight and Sensei's Diving Top. Allows you to tutor lands to the top and be able to play up to 3 of them a turn, creating CA, and revealing the spells you actually want to cast with Future Sight.
If you thought Future Sight/Top was strong on its own, just try throwing in effects that let you play extra lands each turn. ^_-

@ Donovan_Fabian You also didn't even go as crazy as possible. Turn 1 Forest BoP Turn 2 Tap BoP and forest for two mana, play Lotus Cobra-Play a fetch, play Azusa, Lost but Seeking. Drop an Ancient Tomb and get green from the Cobra, tap the Tomb and play a second Cobra (leaving one colorless mana floating) and follow up with another fetch. Use that fetch to get you five more mana (4 from landfall triggers and 1 from land). Drop a Titan.
On the draw of course, but still.

@JaronK That is almost nice but you don't get it every turn, because if you drop three lands a turn, Land Tax is pretty likely to stop triggering. If my opponent is capable of chucking out lands faster than Azusa then I'd want to know what theyre playing.
I run this in my landfall deck. My deck is mixed up with some moonfolk like Meloku. Vey good

How about this:
T1: Forest, Birds of Paradise T2: Plains, this, another Forest and another Plains, then Lotus Cobra T3: Knight of the Reliquary (you don't have enough cards in hand to play a land and Tideforce Elemental)
T4: Tap all mana sources, sac a land, and get an Island. You now have 6 mana in your mana pool, so you play Tideforce Elemental and Crucible of Worlds. For the rest of the game as an instant, you can tap the Island, activate Tideforce's ability, untapping the Knight, getting you a land and an extra mana from the Cobra, continue playing 3 lands a turn from your graveyard, etc...

One of the scariest Commanders available to players. You thought Zur, the Enchanter was overpowered? You obviously haven't been staring down a writhing mass of Eldrazi tentacles backed by an Overwhelming Stampede and powered out by Mana Reflection, Vernal Bloom, and Heartbeat of Spring. Azusa can end games faster than anything. If you want to give your opponents a sporting chance, how about a Helix Pinnacle?

The thing with Azusa is that she isn't a giant target like all other EDH generals, at least in my play-group.
One uses Kaalia, one uses Animar, another uses Verdeloth, one more uses Niv-Mizzet, and I use Azusa. Who do you think, out of those, is going to be Chaos Warped? Not Azusa.
Getting out lots of lands for a mono-green deck is just second nature. It'd be like countering Harrow or Explosive Vegetation: all you'll be doing to stirring the sh*t around.
I can say, however, that Azusa works wonders with Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary. Any time I have him out, the game doubles in speed for me, and thus is why he's banned as a commander.

I will counter that with this
I go first. T1 Forest, Pass T2 Plains, Rampant Growth, Pass T3 Forest, Day of Judgement.
I think I come out ahead, from your god hand.
As for the card, this thing is amazing. EDH general anyone?
In my edh deck I have done this : T1: mana crypt, forest, cast azusa play two forests T2: natural order for world spire worm. Forest and regrowth. She is just nasty.

Her and Rites of Flourishing can make a Green deck turn nasty fast. The rites, does help your opponent, but You're getting the full extra boost. I've actually thought of building a mono green EDH deck centered around her. And I finally found a shop close by that does EDH games every week, so I really want to get on it. My only EDH decks I built so far, I think would cause people to hate me, considering one runs Numot, the Devastator, and the other is my Slivers, with the Sliver Overlord heading that one up.

☆☆☆☆☆ (0.0/5.0)
@GTU Because, if I remember correctly, she was printed as an oversized card. Sliver Queen has the same problem.
There is a more efficient way of playing that out, also assuming if you are on the draw here.
T1: Land, Birds of Paradise T2: tap bird+land for Lotus Cobra. Drop a fetch, float 1, fetch, float 2, tap for mana, play Azusa Drop 2 more fetches, float 2, fetch twice, float 2 more, tap both for mana.
Assuming you are on the draw, that's 6 mana with 2 cards left in hand on Turn 2.
Now, if you dropped something like Magus of the Future, you'd have a very interesting next couple of turns. Especially if it's followed up with something like Scouting Trek
