One of, if not *the* best one drop in white, simply because it's often relevant at any point in a game - early game, it can stop any non-evasive defender without being a chump. Late game, it still causes your opponent to double-remove any of your creatures, provided you're not forced to prematurely activate the ability for any reason.
Part of my standard 20-card early game for any mid/late game monowhite decks I run with (the other 16 cards being 4-ofs of O-Ring, Wrath, Wall of Omens and Swords), and rarely disappoints.
@Dankirk: I'm curious; why do you call it spell bounce? It sounds like you think a spell that's countered due to illegal targets goes back to the hand; in reality its outright countered and goes to the graveyard.

This card seems pretty good at first glance. However, you don't truly understand the sheer power of this card until you play it or play against it. It can make your creatures unblockable. It counters removal. Its mere presence on the field totally changes the way your opponent plays, forcing him to consider what you're going to do next with it with every move he makes. One of the best 1 drops in the game.

Great blocker, has a Kira, Great Glass Spinner type effect on opposing removal, pushes your attackers through their blockers and barely costs anything. Effective in early and late game. She's just unreal...

How is this not a 5/5 1 CMC to some people? By herself she can block anything, avoid targeted removal, or do the same to ALL YOUR CREATURES. Plus, its just hilarious to imagine something like a Terastodon bearing down on you and its stopped completely in it's tracks by little old Grandma. The thing can't even destroy her if it wanted to!
