In Black/White you can play this, following up with a Doom Blade or Go For The Throat.

So this is how they make a Wrath with flashback balanced without pushing the flashback way up to 9WW! Very clever.

Possible the best card of the set , better in most control stradigies than DOJ. This will se play somehow........also brillant with Evil twin

my opponent used this against me at the pre-release. i kept my 7/7 Olivia. he kept his angel of flight alabaster. next turn it was my angel.
This just goes to show that while it can reduce your opponent's creatures, it will leave them with the best one, and since most likely in this situation you are control and they aren't, their creatures will beat yours. even though this has flashback, i will take day of judgement over this almost always, as a clean boardwipe will generally be more advantageous to the caster than keeping a utility creature while getting killed by a demon or something. Just saying.

Indestructable protects you from "Destroy target...", not from this. This is almost like a Day of Judgement, a board wipe. This card is not targeting a particular indestructable creature, it is destroying every creature, but the one that was chosen by the player.
Am I correct on this or wrong?

Wrong.
The only things that stop targeting are Protection, Shroud, and Hexproof.
Indestructibility means: (Lethal damage and effects that say "destroy" don't destroy it. If its toughness is 0 or less, it's still put into its owner's graveyard.)
Literally copy/pasted from gatherer (see Darksteel Myr).
To work the way you think, it would need to say "effects that say 'destroy target."
An opponent casts Hex. Your Progenitus can't be targeted, and neither can Autumn Willow, but your darksteel colossus is targeted; however it can't be destroyed so nothing happens.
An opponent casts Blasphemous Act. Progenitus is fine, he prevents all damage done to him. Darksteel Colossus takes lethal damage, but could care less (unless someone casts turn to frog on him before the turn ends). Autumn Willow burns to charcoal.
An opponent casts Wrath of God. Progenitus explodes into a million pieces, Darksteel colossus shrugs it off, and Autumn Willow leaves a milf shaped silhouette of where she was standing.

i love the synergy inside Innistrad, buff a Champion of the Parish with afew Doomed Travelers/Mausoleum Guard's. lay down an Angelic Overseer then use this!
you now have a bunch of tokens, a really buff Champion of the Parish and a rather large indestructible, hexproof flyer.
another great card to use it with is the Elder Cathar's, to buff the Champion even more.
if you're splashing blue then Spectral Flight works as well.
dont forget Bonds of Faith/Fiend Hunter to get rid of their final blocker
Unruly Mob can be used instead of Champion of the Parish for super budget
outside of Innistrad(although still standard) you've got Angelic Destiny, Honor of the Pure, Archon of Justice(also gets rid of their final blocker) and of course, Oblivion Ring

Knight tribal, a few knights and knight exemplar on the field, play this and choose exemplar. Of course with two exemplars you can just play a "destroy all creatures" type of spell, but you can't really rely on having two of them out.

A lot of fun shenanigans to be had with this, but when the chips are down, day of judgement will get the job done proper. This is also generally not useful in limited in my experience unless you have a rage thrower or something (and in such a scenario, rolling tremblor will probably get the job done just as well) 3.5/5

@swensonator Unfortunately you are wrong. Indestructable means "destroy effects and lethal damage will not cause this card to go to the graveyard." Targeting has nothing to do with it. This WOULD, however, get aroung protection (like every other wrath effect).

Indestructible: Protects against lethal damage and destroy -Immune to anything that says "destroy" -Immune to creature damage -Immune to deathtouch -Vulnerable to anything that says "exile" or "remove from the game" -Vulnerable to anything that reduces toughness (Dismember, Scar) if you hit 0, your creature dies. -Vulnerable to bounce effects (Unsummon)
Shroud: Cannot be the target of spells or abilities -Immune to all spells/abilities with the word "target" (Giant Growth, Doom Blade) -Vulnerable to all spells/abilities that don't have the word "target" (Wrath of God, Overrun) -Cannot be equipped/enchanted (Mind Control, Holy Strength, Darksteel Axe) You cant even giant growth, equip or enchant your own shrouded creature
Hexproof: Exact same as shroud except you can target your Hexproof card with a Giant Growth for example.
Protection: Cannot be targeted, blocked, dealt damage, enchanted, or equipped by the cards your protected against. -Works like shroud for the protected cards. If your card is protection from green, you cant even target your own card with a green spell -If your creature is protection from blue, and the opponent only has blue guys, your creature works just like unblockable. -Immune to all damage from the protected card (pyroclasm). -Vulnerable to any spell without the word target (Evacuation) or this spell (look up)
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. After you wipe the board, all your (non-human) critters re-enter the battlefield thanks to undying. Then for further aggravation, maybe one of your returning creatures could be Fleshbag Marauder. Or Skinrender, if you're playing Standard.

repeat it every turn with Charmbreaker Devils. an 8/4 staring down whatever one creature they've got every turn is a tough thing to beat. especially when they have some token deck with a bunch of weenies :D
Great in Voltron Commander decks, where you're focused on having that one creature in play to do all the hard work and protecting that creature at all costs. Good commanders for this are Rafiq of the Many, Zur the Enchanter, Uril, the Miststalker, and Geist of Saint Traft. Also good if the creature you keep can recur the others, such as with Reya Dawnbringer, Sheoldred, Whispering One, and Karador, Ghost Chieftain. Tell me you wouldn't love casting this with Sheoldred in play. So sure, your opponents get to keep their best guy, but like a lot of cards, when you're expecting this will get cast, you have the upper hand.

Has it's limitations for sure, but imagine this scenario. You are playing a humans deck (this works especially well against zombies). Drop this, then drop angel of glory's rise, get all your humans back. then flashback this, choose the angel as the creature to stay in play, then cloudshift the angel.

Use following attacking with Frontline Medic and 2 or more creatures. Everybody else should be down to one creature and your guys should survive! Or use with Boris Charm.

Do you guys know if the spell will fizzle if the casting player has no creatures to choose from? Also if other players in a >2 player game have no creatures to choose from, will the spell fizzle? I'm just wondering if I could cast this as a plain creature board wipe.

Choices are good. If you give your opponent a choice it means they may make a mistake. Strictly better than your average field wipe.
