It's like Sandskin except its better to use on your own guy instead of the opponents.
Since it give evasion you could try to do the old temporal isolation trick. Put it on your best creature and attack then return the enchantment to your hand somehow (vedalken mastermind, etc.) and you have a constant unblockable creature. Not as good with this card because flyers can still block but it is still an option.
DO NOT PLAY THIS IN A DRAFT GAME. It's bad, trust me.

There is no combat damage, there is only ZUUL.

I don't know. Maybe there is some aspect I'm missing but I'm very confused by this card, flavorwise. Sure, it makes one creature a nice Wall of Denial but how does 'possessing' your own creature bring that to mind? And 'possessing' an opponent's creature (which I would normally see as an aggressive play, like Mind Control) just makes for an AWFUL pacifism. You cannot argue against that. The flying I get, she is hovering. But how does throwing a floating, unconsciousness girl into a vampire keep her from harm? O_o
So functionally, this is as useful as any other Wall, only you need to give up a creature for it. The Palace Guard combo many have mentioned is pretty neat. As I said, there shouldn't be any case where putting this on an opponent's creature is useful. At most, it just delay's the inevitable if you are on the losing end of board position. And it just makes it even harder to swing in IF you do make a comeback. If you are winning, good job! You just gave your opponent an nigh invincible blocker.
I think if you tacked a Mind Control clause to it, it would have been much more interesting. Sure you could take their bomb, but it doesn't help you any beyond the whole blocking thing. Maybe add the "Activated abilities can't be played" as well?
Wall of Nets, because just staving off attackers is lame.

White and Green can use Lure effect with this to just draw off the opponent's creatures and leave the rest unblock-able.

@Singe: Except that it flies. So that'll draw off maybe half their blockers at best.

Turns a mana guy into an effective defense. Wish it had the Rancor return to hand clause though.

I used a couple of copies of this in a draft yesterday. At first i thought it would suck and just planned to use it on somebody's bomb, but it turned out to be game-winning a few times. The best part was that I could block their +1+1 counter getting creatures and also avoid triggering morbid effects. Otherwise I would have had to fight against a 5/5 demon token...

Can Kessig Cagebreakers still "attack" with this aura to activate it's token ability??

I suppose your creature stops dealing damage as its only attack becomes vomiting pea soup...

Zuul motherfxxxxx Zuul!!! Most of the time you'll be playing this onto your opponent's creatures unless they have a nasty habit of bringing out a certain Land card *cough* Inkmoth Nexus *cough* This card gets rather annoying for the players that want to deal massive damage through the titans, sure they still get the effect, but you keep playing this and Bonds of Faith, and your opponent with hate you.

Ghost Possession can make any monster into a pretty great blocking card. But highly not recommended on high damage dealing creatures.
For a major wtf moment strap a lure on the same creature that this is on

This card has its place in draft. Specifically, if your win condition isn't damage-based (mill, or self-mill into Lab Maniac), it's very effective removal, and easy to pick up late.
Because you'll have one in your sideboard a lot of the time, it's also a good emergency post-board lockdown for huge fatties your white/green or white/red deck might otherwise have few answers to, such as Ghoultree or Ludevic's Abomination.

I like this card way more than I should.
A creature with a non-attacking ability (Mesa Enchantress), or a midgame chump blocker (Sanctuary Cat) can become a superblocker. It safely defends against deathtouch, trampling, lifelink, and flying. It lets an untrained Human stop a Vampire Nighthawk in its tracks.
I run a casual blue-white Azorius deck that focuses on preventing the opponent from killing me and striking when all their defenses have been exhausted by detain effects, Pacifism, Arrest, Oblivion Ring, Encrust, et cetera. It even has Azor's Elocutors to give it a way to win. I put two of these cards in my deck and I'm so glad I did. There is not very much creature power in that deck, but this Aura can frustrate anyone who doesn't have removal ready. I love how well it combos with Vanguard's Shield as well. 4.5/5 for epic defensive capabilities.

You guys are forgetting about Kjeldoran Royal Guard I stumbled upon this by accident and it blew my mind. I was blocking my friends green and white token deck with a simple tap each combat phase. Insane.

Put this on a Monstrous Hundred Handed One and block 100 creatures while taking 0 damage. Sick!

But there are some other situations where it's useful. It can be an overcosted Pacifism if you don't care about your opponents blocking (if your win condition is Chalice of Death). Or you can slap it on a creature with a special attacking ability (Geist of Saint Traft, Kessig Cagebreakers, Victory's Herald, or anything with Battle Cry) to let it attack into anything! Just watch out for selfrighteous Knight-Cathars.
