wow this is insane. White gets Arrest, and blue gets Arrest for creatures and artifacts. Wtf?

Kudos to anyone who plays this on a Black Lotus.

(Yes, of course the opponent can sac the Lotus in response. But it is rather likely it will be lost anyway.)

ThisIsSakon: ...Not exactly. To get full Arrest-style effect from the onset, the target needs to be tapped first. Granted that blue has more than enough ways to do that, but the point remains.

This feels distinctly White to me. However, Blue didn't get to be the most powerful color by not leeching off all the others colors. That being said, three mana to get rid of any creature or artifact is very well-costed as well as versatile. This will be a very high pick in Limited, and may even be seen in a Standard that has Blue relying less on counters. Even so, while WotC may see this as a soft-lock, the fact remains that Black and Red have no way to deal with it and to them the enchanted permanent may as well have been exiled.

Pretty solid.

This is not better than Arrest, since creature can still block and creature with Vigilance can still attack without penalty. The plus is, you can enchant artifact with Encrust.

Is it me, or does it look like he is holding a shotgun-kinda-thing?

Blue doesn't get a whole lot of targeted creature control, and almost no targeted artifact control. Therefore, this is wonderful.

This card is great. Blue creature and artifact removal is awesome.

Strictly a sideboard card in constructed standard, but very useful against nasty Thragtusks and Birthing Pods alike. Seems like green decks aren't running Naturalize much. Lousy against blue and white though. Obviously, red and black have zero enchantment removal.

Greetings,
Question with this card. I summoned a Red creature and while with summoning sickness, i was hit with card on my creature. Is this creature tapped and unuseable from the start or do i get to make one attack on my next turn and then it is block from usage?
Thank you.

I played a game today against someone who used encrust on one of my fairly decent creatures. Near end game all my other creatures are wiped out and I am close to a win. I draw Mark of Mutiny on the enchanted creature winning the game. I was stoked
