Mh, looks nice, I just got this card. Guess I'll try it in my deck...

Strictly worse than Wall of Tears

Forgeling, check out the creature type. I know a lot more cards that care about Spirits than cards that care about Walls. There were a lot of "strictly worse" reprints in Kamigawa block, but they all gained either Spirit or Arcane type to work with other cards in the block.

Nice art. Creapy, disterbing, and strangely erotic.

There were quite a few cards that cared about walls, but ever since they keyworded the Wall ability and gave it to non-Wall creatures, there haven't really been any.

Forgeling... not quite, the fact that it's a spirit makes it a bit more capable in certain decks.

It looks really promising... I guess it could be really annoying with Slagwurm Armor to make it harder to kill... some part of me wants to try it :)

Aha. I don't think that I would play it over Wall of Tears, but I do see your point. Wierd art.

Neat effect, relevant creature type, and some of the coolest art I've ever seen.

This card isn't fetish fuel at all.

Too bad they didn't just make it a functional reprint of Wall of Tears.
Being able to take three damage to the head just makes the difference between mediocre and decent.

As with Arcanes, it's like they felt the need to give it some drawback for having potential use in a Spiritcraft deck.
Blue Spiritcraft... good one, Wizards.
