Hi, for all . I think that this card is a superior virtual card advantage, for the next extended format. Haunted Horror

This card completely annihilates tokens, which makes it indispensable for SBing imo. 4/5

jairo_zamora, the name is Hunted Horror, not Haunted Horror.

Yeah, as Wusanderz said this totally destroys token decks. Great sideboard material and a good choice for a non-token EDH deck.

Play with Captain Sisay.

★★★★☆ (4.5/5.0) (4 votes)
@ Bouchart:

That doesn't work, leyline of singularity only makes permanents legendary. Cards not in play are not permanents.
Still a great card vs. tokens, or synergy with the hunted series.

I dropped this against a friend's white soldier token deck, let's just say it did stay around for long :( But then I dropped a Silent Arbiter which messed him up pretty good. So many tokens but only one can attack each turn, lol.

What about morphs? Actually they don´t have a name, so no legend-rule applies, right?

@ Ixidor1977

Since morphed creatures have no name they won't be sent to the graveyard for sharing a name with a legendary creature.

Haha... Imagine the looks you'd get if you dropped this in EDH.

I was actually thinking of using this in EDH, allot of people tend to run allot of the same things, jittes, fire and ice, light and shadow, minds eye, solemn, sol ring, miraris wake, mana reflection, top and the list goes on and on. Keeps people from playing their own copy, or simply using it only for a removal of another. Not to mention, clone-esque cards become instant removal in all cases instead of just some. (except vesuva or cloning a man-land.) xD

I made a rogue legacy deck using this and Survival of the Fittest. It had clone and all that to kill my opponents creatures, and I used survival to ensure that I could always fetch the creature I needed even though they were all 1- or 2-ofs in the deck. It would have been better if I had some FoWs.

This card makes me want to build a deck around it. So much fun to be exploited~

Has it occured to anyone that this card also affects your own cards? It effectively dissallows you to play any repeated permanents you have.

@MMT: So? You don't use this card without thinking about that first anyway.

Phantasmal Image becomes the ultimate creature removal. Doesn't target so it trumps protection and shroud\hexproof, but you still get the choice unlike diabolic edict type effects and the legend rule as a state based action trumps indestructible and regeneration. All for 1U

@jemas42: It's not useless in Commander. It lets you shut down token generators and allows you to take out anything that you also have in your deck. If your friends run a lot of tokens, it wouldn't be such a bad idea.

well if you have 2 on your opening hand, and choose to put them both in play just in case, then that's a stupid move from you...

2013 Duel Deck:
Leyline of Vitality (Aggro Tokens)
VS.
Leyline of Singularity (Punishing Control)

@ KarmasPayment

not to mention people who play token EDH decks. All those tokens with no name specified? their name defaults to the same as their creature type, so decks that churn out endless tokens get their stuff wiped from the board.

So many combos you can do with this. My teacher has a U/B deck based around this beauty with a few annoying tricks:

Clone = Destroy target creature.
Empress Galina = Gain control of target permanent.
Cryptoplasm = At the beginning of your upkeep, you may destroy target creature.
Blood Seeker = Whenever you play Hunted Horror, target opponent loses 2 life. Whenever you play Hunted Phantasm, target opponent loses 5 life.
Hunted Horror = BlackBlack: 7/7 w/ trample. BS makes target opponent lose 2 life.
Hunted Phantasm = 1BlueBlue: 4/6 unblockable. BS makes target opponent lose 5 life.

I love that deck.

Deck I recently put together revolves around this.

U/B Leyline Reanimation:

Leyline of Singularity, Leyline of the Void, Grave Pact, Reassembling Skeleton, Gravecrawler, and Death Baron.

With Singularity and Grave Pact, your dead Skeletons become "Pay 4: each opponent sacrifices 2 creatures." Get Death Baron or any other zombie out, and your dead Gravecrawlers become "Pay 2: each opponent sacs 2 creatures." Throw out the other Leyline, and now it's exile instead of sac.

Legendary Planeswalker is legendary.

Does this actually have any interaction with a Planeswalker aside from making them more cool sounding? My sources say no.

"Dies to Leyline of Singularity"

Not anymore!

Unless it's your own, in which case it still dies but the other is still alive.

Seems viable in Modern {U}/{R} Delver sideboards. Side out Young Pyromancer, board in this.
