i feel like this card couldve gone with costing at least one more mana to cast, considering it gives all your creatures deathtouch(providing its being used in an all zombie/skeleton deck, obviously). i plan on using this card in my deck too, so its not that im afraid of it being used against me, i just know balancing power is the key to this game staying fair and fun.

Of course, if you have two in play, then they count each other as 'other zombie creatures' and provide the bonuses.

This in itself wins you the game. they won't make it past your 1/2 deathtouch regenerator, all while you spit out an army of 2/2 deathtouch zombies, then after an alpha strike, finish them off with the lord's mill/lifeloss

I've been running this in combination with Lich Lord of Unx --2 mana for a 2/2 deathtouch zombie wizard is pretty sweet.

Death Baron is a solid zombie lord. He meets all the requirments for the standard lord:
3cmc, +1/+1 to other creatures of its tribal type, and an additional unique bonus.
Death Baron's deathtouch is very usefull for zombie tribal and skeleton tribal, it is slightly more obvious why he is so effective for skeleton tribal (regenerating creatures, and creatures that return to play are very deadly with deathtouch).
I run Death Baron in a zombie tribal deck along side Lord of the Undead, and Undead Warchief. As far as lords go this one runs best with creatures with low cmc due to it having a static ability, being realitivly cheap compared to Undead Warchief (1 mana cheaper) and works well with festering goblin, not much is scarier than a 1/1 zombie with death touch for that can take down a huge creature and another small creature with it.
All in all Death Baron is a good lord, A very solid 3 drop in Zombies OR Skeletons (it is a shame that it isn't a skeleton in addition to being a zombie).

This card is Zombie Tribal's answer to Vampire Nocturnus. Very solid card, very useful in combination with Grave Titan, two 3/3 deathtouch Zombies every turn is not bad at all.

Card is a beast!! Goes great with my changeling deck, since they are all creature types including zombies and skeletons...they all get +2/+2 and deathtouch. Throw in Crucible of Fire and suddenly a cheap little creature such as Mothdust Changeling becomes a 6/6 with deathtouch, OH MY!!!

I feel like zombies need something like zombietouch instead of just deathtouch. Like they'd make other nonzombie creatures get -1/-1 and if they're still alive at that point, they come into play under your control as a black zombie in addition to their other types.

This reminds me how Zombies can fight back even when they have such a poor creatures as Zombie Goliath, or Rotting Fensnake... They are two choices. Get a horde, or boost 'em up.
