I don't get why people have rated this card so low, he was out in a set before (I think) the other 1/1 card that does 1 life to opponents, so that shouldn't really be held against it as a card. Furthermore whether or not there is a more effecient card doesn't detract from whether this card is good or bad, it simply means that there are more efficient ways for your deck construction.
