Combine with Phage the Untouchable for a possible instant win vs a non-black/non-artifact deck.

You can tell Jedijoe really understands the essence of EDH because he plays it with a poison general. :-/

Turn it into a creature, then use Pygmy Giant.

Sadly, usually not very useful for a Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker EDH :(

...but, I would be disgusted with myself if I didn't go ahead and put it in there anyways. I went ahead and threw in things like Strata Scythe and Blade of the Bloodchief, in an attempt to use it anyways as a secondary win condition, and the equipments like those help boost the fragile Shirei just by themselves, so its not so bad.

My Super Secret Tech for this?

Concerted Effort, in Kaalia EDH. :)

What's wrong with using Skittles as a general? It's much more tame than plenty of things, consider for a moment that infect can't capitalize on other player's work, he's monoblack which limits his options, and he starts at around turn 6 without accel. He doesn't net you tons of free cards like many generals do, and he's not as aggressive as generals like Rafiq, Uril, or other common "general damage" generals. He's not even the best infect general I've seen, The Mimeoplasm is far scarier in that regard, since he's liable to one-shot you out of the game. You don't see monoblack decks abusing the life buffer in order to set up tutors and combo out on you that often, like blue decks often do. All in all, it ends up being a fair game, at least that's my experience playing against him. If he's too fast and you're not having fun, that's on you to improve your deck... or to convince the other people at your table to dogpile!

If you have legendary black creatures without fear in your deck, why not replace 1 swamp with this? Unless of course your running a bunch of things like mutilate and corrupt and decide its not worth it.

Yes, yes, YES! It's a swamp.

Except it has an awesome ability.

There is NO reason you shouldn't be running this in every black deck you own that has a legendary creature.

Well, unless I suppose you play against a lot of wastelands... but still. Really, really good.
