Simply amazing in a Burn deck. Not perfect, but not much is (and legal).

Finally a reason to play One With Nothing!

I still wouldn't use one with nothing, I'd use Peace of Mind, Pegasus Refuge, Stormbind, or pretty much anything that gives you something for discarding...

Use One with Nothing to get the initial cards out of your hand, then use peace of mind for cards you don't need. Obviously going to be used in stall/control, so the lifegain from peace of mind would be a good thing. just add some good walls and some fog effects, and of course some good counters, and prepare for the opponent to scoop from frustration and boredom

I used this card in combination with Goblin Warrens in a red goblin deck as a backup plan incase I don't get my Goblin King's out. I've gone countless matches getting 3-4 goblins each turn waiting until I have enough to kill my opponent. My problems with this card is that I need to have 0 cards in hand in order to keep things stable, so if/when I draw a Goblin King I'll have to wait two turns in order to draw the cards required to attack, and with three of those killers in my deck my enemy might be able to kill me with flyers before I can attack. To fix this problem I tossed a Shatter in there so I can attack quickly without waiting to build up cards.
Not perfect but then again it's only my backup plan.
Keep your hand and be unattackable except by creatures 0 or less.

This card is excellent with any deck that attacks with 0 power creatures.
For example, my Elf deck does this: 1. Have Ensnaring Bridge In play. 2. Attack my opponent with Taunting Elf (0 power) 3. Pump it with my Timberwatch Elf. 4. Repeat step 3 using any of the elf untap cards...
It seams everyone's combo with this card relies on discarding your hand to allow your creatures to attack. I love this card for Mill and Discard decks. And for either type of deck, you can search your deck for it with either Fabricate or Demonic Tutor. It has saved my butt countless times.

Why are people trying so hard to 'combo' this? Just play it in a deck where you can play out as much of your hand as you want, and can either refill it quickly enough to attack when you want, or uses a non-creature win condition.
For those that are looking to combo it though, keep in mind that triggers on attack declaration, like Exalted and Battle Cry, will resolve after the attacker/s have been declared. Meaning you can get through bigger guys than you'd usually be allowed.

At the very least, this hoses Eldrazi, even if your hand is full, lol.
Given the primary win con of most decks, if you can run this with small unblockables, you can get an easy win so long as you protect it. They can't attack, you attack each turn with guys they can't do anything to (Nether traitor is a prime example.) Simply play your spell or land every turn in your second phase.
Combine with Signal Pest for colorless evasive pumping or the best of all, Inkfathom Witch. With Tormented Soul these pumpers can quickly end opponents, and you're in Blue and Black, the best draw spells of magic and the easiest colors to discard in and the easiest colors to get evasive/unblockable creatures in.
Apostle's Blessing can protect your Bridge colorlessly; and can protect your creatures in a pinch (mostly the witch.)
Given the theme, consider Thief of Hope for occasional life-gain, bleed, and recursion of your Tormented Souls.

A great EDH general who can abuse this is Malfegor, oddly enough.
One thing you're going to have to understand is that you'll almost never have a full hand with Malfegor, considering his effect. The one problem discarding your whole hand provides is you now have fewer ways to solve problems: any of them are in your grave now. But if you have this out, you're now invulnerable to being attacked.
All in all, it's a great artifact that can halt a games speed drastically, kind of like Propaganda and/or Ghostly Prison. Just remember that it affects all players, including yourself.

Awesome card for protection, especially against fatties of all kinds. It fits perfectly in any weeny deck, where most creatures rather rely on comboing with each other, than on mere power.
I run this in a faerie tribal deck and it´s perfect to win some time to be able to build up your win condition. Creatures like Sprite Noble, for example, or anything else which lets you pump your creatures during your attack, also fit perfectly to this card, since it makes you be more flexible to still be able to attack yourself, while the bridge is in play. Oona's Prowler also fits perfectly to this, since it gives you more control over your hand size. Or also the Quietus Spike is very nice to use with it.
I just wished that they would reprint this card, because the art isn't really what I would could beautiful...

4/5 - It's a double edged blade; be careful

Also great to attack with Guiltfeeder, hehehe...
Or just attack with 1/1's on your turn, pump em with your spells, then play/ditch your card so your opponent's can't attack.
*Note* Just be prepared in case your opponent disenchants this. Nothing is worse than a "Suprise!" attack.
This card usually makes my opponents hate me as they sit there while I slowly mill or burn them to death, and it's great.
Works great with Sun Droplet as the damage they DO manage to get in will eventually be regained.
A solid 4/5
