People often overlooked Peace of Mind's discard fuels one's graveyard. Putting certain cards in graveyard yields advantage when used right. Cards with flashback, madness, reanimation, threshold, and other functions are all powerful. Peace of Mind is also used in lockdowns with cards such as Zur's Weirding, provide you with life points to bargain over and over.

Make it free discard, and even if you cut the life back to two or one, you may have something. The discard outlet aspect of the card is far more relevant than the life gain.

White doesn't get free discard often. Tricky.
