Comes right out of nowhere with 4 power, attacking immediately and making blocking a losing proposition with first strike. Turns all your other Unleash creatures into surprise attacks as well. Terrifying card.

Too bad the only black red cards she combos with are unleashed cards. Yet another failed guild runner in my eyes, regardless of it's application for standard (which I think it'll never see, due to the dozen better options in the four slot)

Actually, that's a darn fine Rakdos creature even without the last ability. 4/3 can't-block with First Stike and Haste are EXACTLY what Unleash wants. The last ability is great too, but you know a card's a winner when it starts with a few handy keywords that play nice together. In that way, she reminds me of Glissa, the Traitor.

T4 drop her, T5 drop Vorapede and sac it to Varolz or something. Attack with 6/5 hasty trample vigilance, 4/4 first strike, 3/3 regenerator.
Bonus points if you scavenge a few Slitherheads while you're at it.

See, now this is a champion who synergizes well with her guild! Why couldn't more of the maze runners be the glue to hold their guilds' decks together? Should also have been Massacre Girl, but nobody's perfect. Major limited bomb, and you probably will want her in most Unleash decks as well.

Wow! I'm feeling guilty about preferring her to Rakdos himself. She's so good on her own and buffs your other unleashed creatures. And that's restricting ourselves to the Rakdos guild. Combined with the Golgari, she can be really really good. 5/5

This is a good card, but I wish this wasn't Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch. Lyzolda, the Blood Witch is a fun card to build around, and I was hoping to get a card that would compliment her. Instead we get a smaller Carnival Hellsteed that acts as a lord for unleashed. I agree with Totema that she should have been Massacre Girl, instead of a Blood Witch.

Loving this card, it's just what rakdos needed. Makes those late game Rakdos Cacklers worth the mana to play them!
Also combos with Undying, Evolve, Gavony Township, etc...
Although she's not indestructbible, she can easily replace the falkenrath aristocrats in jund aggro decks or dirty naya.
Its fun so far i just gotta figure out how to beat control/tempo in game 1.

4 mana for a 4/4 hasty first striker is already good. Making everything else hasty is even better. BR aggro might become a thing outside of zombies now.
Of all the guild champions, Exava stands to be the one that will see the most play and probably make Rakdos/Jund aggro an incredibly popular deck again. Very cool card.

Pulled her in the pre release today but decided not to run black (I chose Izzet but got SO MANY Gruul cards Including Borbor that I couldn't not make R/U/G)...only won the first two games out of eight so regretting my choice slightly.

I just love this card! The artwork is amazing and I was jumping up and down when i first saw this. This is going to go straight into my jund aggro! I have only ever been of the Rakdos, so I am very happy with Exava serving as our champion. 5/5

Quite possibly the sexiest maze runner in this set. I grade her just above Emmara Tandris and Lavinia of the Tenth just because she is faster, First strike and she rewards her fellow mob haste. This card is Awe-some on so many levels. Oh and I also like her cameo in Runner's Bane that was an awesome card and truly sad if you choose not to Unleash her.

Nice synergy with unleash, scavenge, and perhaps even evolve.
Sigh... I wish she gave creatures unleash. As it is, you can only use her in an unleash deck or a wierd simic-rakdos-golgari deck, or any other deck that puts +1/+1 counters on creatures. I find this to be awfully limiting, since there are few ways to pop +1/+1 counters on creatures the turn they come out. Off the top of my head, there are allies, unleash, sunburst, bloodthirst... can't think of anymore. I'm sure there are propably a few other ways to do it (I'd be surprised if there wasn't!) but I'm not familar with them and I can't find the right phrasing to search for.
Could make for an intersting combo deck, mind you.
Cool card but how to get creatures with a +1+1 counter without splashing a third colour?

With all the Theros temples and the RtR dual-lands still around, I could see a Standard four-color Mutants deck being built with this card, Kalonian Hydra, and Master Biomancer.

I personally will be using scavenge and unleash in Jung colors, pairing this card with Varolz, the Scar-Striped, Vexing Devil, Slumbering Dragon and Flesh//Blood...

The two-drops could be Gyre Sage, Gore-House Chainwalker, and maybe even Lotleth Troll.
The three-drops could be anything from Battering Krasis to Varolz, the Scar-Striped, with a couple of Hindervines for combat tricks.
The only problem with the deck would be the 4-drop spot; there are several great creatures that could be auto-includes at that mana cost.
