That's pretty epic. If this card is used, it will almost always be used for creatures. But it could also be used to stop Hellkite Tyrant.

Final Judgment is such a highly rated card, and this is almost strictly better than that. I like this a lot.

The ability to use a board wipe that exiles instead of destroys is so great. No more Asceticism, no more Avacyn, Angel of Hope, this time, you re actually going to lose your permanents.

Nice to see people on here appreciating the card as opposed to the forum users screaming and moaning about it. I feel like the templating is excessive though. Couldn't they have dropped all of the "or all" and just used commas like a normal sentence? Maybe they are catering to the "nubs" out there but if you can comprehend what this card does on any logical level you can probably read normal sentences :P

Also, I'm pretty sure this card represents the Detention Sphere that the Orzhov got their hands on.

Possibly could have been written as, "Name a type. Exile all nonland permanents of that type." or something like that. This could become obsolete if a new type of permanent comes out. Hey, planeswalker is relatively new.

I'm somewhat excited by this card, as it seems great for sideboards (Terminus is way better for main deck), but it really doesn't have an epic enough picture to warrant that effect. Flavor overall is great, I just figured the full wrath of the Ghost Council would be more interesting than generic black stuff in the streets. I'll give it a 4/5.

I'm not a big fan of this. While the cost is probably as low as they could realistically push it, Final Judgement didn't see much play, so neither will this. It might be included in Esper Control as a 5th and 6th Supreme Verdict.

On terms of power level, I like the effect a lot. Exiling stuff is very relevant in all formats. I do think paying 6 mana to exile a planeswalker is a bit too much. There aren't many decks that actually put 2 planeswalkers onto the battlefield at any given time. It's quite rare.

Ugh. This is upsetting. I've contended for years Exile is the most powerful mechanic in the game and singlehandedly made White necessary in your own deck.

Consider me crying about this pre-emptively.

All four options are powerful, especially when they are done in the fashion of exile. Removing planeswalker is one of its greatest addition, consider how few spells out there actually destroy them utterly; en mass, I might add.

First of all, Wizards will probably NEVER reprint Damnation in a Standard format anytime soon. Second, this card is nuts. An upgrade to Final Judgment, control decks would mainboard if not sideboard at least two of these.

★★★★☆ (4.9/5.0) (4 votes)
Oh my goodness... what's the flavour here? Is this just an interesting Ravnican interpretation of the "exile" concept (eviction), or is this literally some magical eviction that the Obzedat use when their contracts are broken? Actually evicting something, or someone, from existence?

Plus I like the flavour texts with Aurelia talking to Gideon Jura as if he's just a regular everyday normal guy (see Boros Elite... this card just has a lot going for it. 5/5.

★★☆☆☆ (2.0/5.0) (1 vote)
If art and flavor were all that mattered, this would be an instant 5/5. But as-is, it's too slow in pretty much every constructed format to be reliable, and in limited, it runs perpendicular to Orzhov's goal of putting down weenies and extorting your opponent all game long. I'm assuming this'll still see play in EDH, where it'll be fun, if nothing else.

SRSFACE: As long as Exile is color-imbalanced, you might have a point. :/
Wizards will fix it eventually. They didn't let Blue keep its Toys, so I see White losing either its monopoly or its toy in the future. :)

Guys I'd hate to be a downer here but this really isn't all that good. 6 mana for a counterable, slightly more flexible Supreme verdict in W/B isn't actually that useful. The reason supreme verdict is so good is that aggro decks generally get there best creatures out by turn four (Hellrider, Falkenrath Aristocrat ect.) If your lucky enough to have hit your land drops each turn you still have gotten your face beaten in. Exile is nice if you're facing something with graveyard shenanigans, but honestly, they aren't that popular and they probably will have won by the time you cast this.

★★★★★ (5.0/5.0) (8 votes)
Alot of you guys don't play alot of casual multiplayer, do ya? This is like the best sweeper ever printed for the kitchen table. Mean indestructible artifact deck got you down? No problem. Enchantress deck running out of controll? Not anymore. Planeswalker about to bust your face in? Good riddance. Oh yeah and it deals with creatures too! And this is all on one reasonably costed card. I'd pay 7 or 8 for that, I play stuff like Decree of Pain and Disaster Radius all the time, you just have to build your deck to have access to lots of mana.

And cheesy puff, saying something is not good because "it's counterable" is worse then saying "it dies to removal". I know your just looking through a spikes eyes but come on man.
ParallaxtheRevan
★★★☆☆ (3.9/5.0) (8 votes)
Killer Cheesepuff is obviously a Standard Grinder. Technically, he seems to be evaluating correctly for Standard, except that it's -so- powerful, -so- flexible, that it still might see some play.

It's REAL power shines when it is available to formats that regularly have to deal with...everything.
It's a bit high-costed for me to say it's Legacy good, but it's DEFINITELY going to be making common appearances in Modern. Will it make Top Tables in Modern? I'm undecided about -that- but MANY people will play it.

It sweeps the board against Aggro Creature Decks

It sweeps the board against Artifact Decks (relevant where the good artifacts are legal, lol, and any format that includes Scars Block)

IT SWEEPS PLANESWALKERS. I don't know if Ral Zarek and the Next Block and Core Set's Planeswalkers are going to quite be good enough to make this good, but right --now-- we have Jace, Architect of Thought, Tamiyo the Moon Sage, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker, Liliana of the Veil, and Chandra the Firebrand and Liliana of the Dark Realms as potential (not PROMINENT), potential pieces to a Chillin' with the Villains/Planeswalkers Assemble deck.
Lils 3 is good with Ravnica Duals and we have all 4 Swamp-Shocks now, so that might turn out to be relevant. Sure, Planeswalkers.dec might not even be a thing in Standard.

Guilded Lotus got M13 printed. And every set has Planeswalkers. And Shock Lands are nice. And there's a Planeswalker that Fetches Shocks. You want to say that's not enough to matter, be my guest, but Merciless Eviction has it covered if you are wrong and Mana Fix-Ramp-into-Stupid Cards is still a good strategy. :P

I took alot of words to describe Walk-Sweeping not because it's more relevant than Creature-Sweeping but because I wanted to point out the many factors that could make it more relevant than you might think at first blush.

It also hoses Enchantments, including, if they re-used it, Totem Armor, so yeah.
I think if this had {R} in its cost, and maybe {1} more as well, it could say "or exile all lands", and it would be very tough to cast, but useable STILL in EDH. :P

The textbox is Legacy playable. The mana cost could be an issue there, but 6 is castable in Modern, Standard, and EDH fo show.

I love mass removal. I love exiling permanents. I especially love nuking the board whenever I feel like it in multi. But the best part is, you can CHOOSE what to get rid of. This isn't just a giant Wrath, it's also capable of dealing with artifact creatures without removing yours, killing annoying enchantment stall decks, and even kills planeswalkers.

Very solid multiplayer removal, and awesome shout out to Culling Sun. Or at least similar.

A board sweeper that hits 4 different card types for 6 mana. I really like the versatility of this card. Against Planeswalkers...check, Artifacts...check, Enchantments...check, Creatures...check. Wow, combining all four modes into 1 single card any control player would fall in love with it. And in case you are wondering Exile is brutal against Undying and Indestructible.

This card deserves its own theme music Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones.

All the effects are powerful, but for six mana in two colors I would expect at least a choose-two option. I'm not sure if even saying "Choose one or more" would be pushing it. Altogether worse than final judgment because you need TWO COLORS to play this and the added utility isn't worth that IMO

This is going to be great in EDH.
Falling behind creature-wise? Exile all creatures.
Too many artifacts? (especially Lux Cannon and Akroma's Memorial, among others) Not anymore.
Someone stealing the game with powerful enchantments? Here's an answer.
But most enticing of all: Multiple planeswalkers making a mess of the board state? Yeah, I thought not. Orzhov mass-removal for the win!

@ blurrymadness: then you could choose types like soldier, or aura, etc and exile a type only your opponent has that you don't. You can still do this of course, but not to as great a degree as if the wording were vague like that. I don't think many players would let you get away with something like that, but they'd rather avoid the possibility entirely
JimmyNoobPlayer
☆☆☆☆☆ (0.0/5.0)
@bealcreator: No, "creatures" that aren't on the battlefield are not truly creatures, they are creature cards. This wording is very consistent.

Notice that every object in your hand, library, or graveyard is called a card:
Hand: Force of Will, Despise.
Library: Rampant Growth, Green Sun's Zenith, Idyllic Tutor.
Graveyard: Reanimate, Revive, Anarchist.

@AwkwardInvasion: I think blurrymadness' wording would work and wouldn't be too confusing. Those things you mentioned are subtypes. Look at the rulings for Creeping Renaissance.

This is what a board wipe should be! Stabilizes the board and stabilizes it in the way you want it to be stabilized. Got too much of your stuff Oblivion Ringed? Sick of your friend abusing the Deadeye Navigator/Thragtusk combo? Liliana of the Veil is ready to ultimate? Just take care of it. Yes, it's pricey, but exile is infinitely better then just destroying it. Very nice card. So happy to have it.

Good main deck if your curve implies you'll be in for the long haul. I use it in my {B}{W} clerics deck. Either I have board control; or I'm about to :D

@awkward
Oops! I didn't save my edit. I think it was:
"Choose a permanent type other than land:",
Which means you're incorrect; Soldiers are a subtype I believe, thus you couldn't choose it. Soldier isn't a type of permanent, there just happen to be permanents with the subtype Soldier.

Choices on a boardwipe is absolutely amazing for EDH. Austere Command is sometimes more wanted that Wrath of God for the option of saving your own weenies/tanks, or to destroy a few enchantments.

This deserves a better rating than 4.1. It's almost always better than having Final Judgment, where the 'drawback' is that this costs 4WhiteBlack instead of 4WhiteWhite. This does mean that you can't play this in as many EDH decks, but when you can, you'll be thankful for having this.

Mind you, this backfires much worse when someone Mindslaver/Sorin Markov's you...

This is a really solid boardwipe card for Esper. The flexibility of being able to exile so many different types of permanents is really useful. It's a good way to deal with decks that think that they are prepared for anything as long as they have a Boros Charm up.

You can exile everything using Enchanted Evening or Mycosynth Lattice.

In all seriousness though... this card causes huge card advantage, and in a pinch can be used as spot removal to get rid of that one pesky permanent.

This seems overcosted for only one mode to be available, even with exiling. I think "destroy and cannot be regenerated" would be enough to make two modes available per cast.

Final Judgment is a fine card in EDH and in a BW deck, this is better in every way.

Exile removal is very important in EDH. A lot of things can get around destroy effects (like boros charm). But there's not much to get around exiling. This is especially true with the theros gods gaining popularity. Wrath of God/Austere Command can't get rid of the gods, but this can. Swords to Plowshares is infinitely more useful than Murder and that's not only because of the lower mana cost, but exile removal is just that more powerful.

Because it doesn't get a lot of permanents everytime you cast it, this cannot be the only sweeper in your EDH deck. 6 mana for a sweeper that hits only one type of permanents is pricy. You do want a pretty hard control deck that wants to pack multiple sweepers. Maybe you want this alongside your planar cleansing, this gets rid of the problematic permanents and cleansing is there to just get everything. Or support this with a few cheaper sweepers like Toxic Deluge or Wrath of God. Maybe you want a few cards to get this back from the graveyard after it's cast depending on your colors (snapcaster mage, eternal witness, etc.). When supported, this is a great card for control decks. I can't imagine a BWx control deck in EDH that doesn't want this card.
