Awesome art! I think this is a far more balanced replacement for Day of Judgement.

There goes the neighborhood.
And the rest of existence, for that matter.

Not as powerful as Final Judgment....but, still pretty powerful.
Actually, it's sad to say, but I think Wrath of God just isn't strong enough for Magic anymore. Not with Planeswalkers and the occasional really dumb Artifact or Enchantment supporting the rest of the deck. I'm thinking they should start looking for an appropriate cost for Armageddon...

In the kind of controlling deck that wants to be going past turn six this card can be amazing. Cast it, then shuffle your grave into your library with Elixir of Immortality and keep drawing cards and casting answers.

Have they tried a sweeper that costs 5? Don't get me wrong, this is an effect that I like costing an arm and a leg. What if it had an "end the turn" clause?
SInce they're reprinting awesome cards, I hope we see obliterate again... Nevermind, they're reducing board wiping by like two mana already... Just gave it 3 (W) to try and balance it somehow? Zzz
Also some flavor text would be nice... This and murder make me sad...

What is it about Wrath cards and having the same general art? see Day of Judgement Wrath of GodDamnation. I get that it's all supposed to bring the iconic WoG to mind, but seriously, big ball of light, dissolving silhouettes, even the positioning of it all is basically the same. Great card though, and I guess it's pretty good to have one effect have an iconic image.

My guess for why this was reprinted instead of Day of Judgment is that there's a 4-mana sweeper in RTR and Wizards didn't want sweepers.dec.
Eight 4-mana sweepers and Terminus sounds brutal for aggro.

Funniest moment at prerelease: guy cast this and forgot that it's not the same thing as Day of Judgment, because in the process, he got rid of an Oblivion Ring that was keeping his opponent's creature in exile. Oops.

....I mentioned on a different card that my friend played a White/Black nuke deck, with almost NOTHING but field-nuking cards. Fortunately, he'd never heard of this one. Seriously, what IS this? O.o
His deck COULD have been a 100% nuke-field deck with this card. He ran Thopter Assembly to get Phyrexian Rebirth's power up, and Myr Sire and other similar cards for defenses until he could nuke, but still....

omniscience, worldfire, this card, faith's reward ... gilded lotus and infernal plunge perhaps...
