If I put this in my exalted EDH deck, will it's ability go on the stack? So I attack with it and have Rafiq of the Many in play. Since the Worm attacked alone, can I stack Rafiq's Exalted and double-strike, then put the Worm's "destroy all creatures" ability on top.
All creatures are nuked and I have an 8/8 double-striking beat down heading your way. Plus maybe a Might of Oaks to make it 15/15...
Or If I make them indestructible, my Knight of New Alara makes him a 9/9, plus all the exalted goodness I can handle.

Once upon a time, 7 for a 7/7 would've been the norm; often with an obnoxiously terrible drawback. Now a days we get a Desolation Giant on steroids.
What an age we live in...
As for the colors, that is very peculiar. Green does have the greatest history of being able to consistently destroy any permanent type other than creatures, Creeping Mold, but any claim to destroying creatures is only in really old cards like Desert Twister, or multicolor shenanigans.
Creature type aside, this seems much more like a red-white or black-white spell, or even mono-white, a la Mageta the Lion.

@rpgrsr4me This works just fine with exalted. When he is declared as an attacker, lets say you control 3 battlegrace angels. His "destroy all other creatures" ability and all the exalted abilities trigger simultaneously. They are put on the stack in any order you choose because you control all the effects. Scenario 1 (blast first): Novablast attacks-> "destroy all other creatures" is put on the stack. 3 Exalteds (creature attacks alone gets +1/+1 till EoT) go on the stack on top. Players pass priority. Three Exalteds resolve, novablast gets +3/+3 till end of Turn. Blast resolves, other critters die. Even if you order it the other way round, the exalteds still resolve even if their sources are destroyed. Exalted is a triggered ability.

Mageta the Wurm:
He takes out Progenitus. Give him canopy cover and very little will be taking him out anytime soon. Not much of a Piper target seeing how he'll kill your pipers and the mana accel used to cheat him into play faster, but w/ land acceleration and summoning trap, he can be a force to be reckoned with.
Also, I'll break down the color choice for those of you who may be confused.
Duskdale Wurm (7/7 fot 5GG) + Wrath of God (Destroy all creatures for 2WW)
replace 2 of the 5 with WW and you get this.

This card suddenly makes a lot of sense, everyone was like why is a wrathing wurm card a mythic rare.. then you get rise of the eldrazi and it's like "Ohhh..." This giant wurm keeps all eldrazi out of play except for ulamog, and all their spawn tokens. It's the ultimate anti eldrazi creature. Protect it with totem armor, emerge unscathed, or vines of vastwood and just keep attacking for the win.

I don't understand why everyone thinks this should be Black... the colours make perfect flavour sense:
White: The explosion (it is a Novablast Wurm) is cleansing, a la Wrath, Mageta, etc. And it happens every time it comes out from hiding (i.e. attacks). Green: It's a wurm. Enough said.

@ Thisprofilemocksyou,
I don't think you understand what shroud does. A creature with shroud will be destroyed by effects that "destroy all creatures" because those effects don't target specific creatures. So wrath of god, day of judgment, damnation and nevinyrral's disk will still destroy your creatures even if you've given them shroud. MtG rules are conveniently literal so unless a card specifically says "target" in reference to the permanent(s) it intends to effect, shroud is meaningless.

This guy seems pretty sweet, but after some play he is actually rather unwieldy. He doesnt get to blast away a big field very often, since that field is either your enemies, and they kill you with it, or you have field advantage and you dont want to nuke away a good thing. He is really strong with a great ability and he can win games on his own, he generally doesn't play nice with others.
Of course this guy is best friends with indestructible dudes like spearbreaker behemoth and ulamog the infinite gyre. Giving haste or cheating him into play end of turn also tends to remove a lot of the downsides from this guy.

When I finally get this into my exalted deck he will be able to come out 4th turn... which hopefully makes me win ... The way I will be doing this is playing steward of valeron 2nd turn then elvish piper 3rd and finally Novablast Wurm (note: I play him during the player's turn right before me so that other players have less response time to kill it)... This guy is perfectly green/white, in all the worst ways (for your opponent). White is THE color for creature-based WoGs, given the fact that they are typically the most creature-heavy. What better way to balance mass-removal than put it in the color it would hurt the most? Now, why it fits white/green, is because green is big creatures, especially wurms, with trample. What better form of trample is there than destroying all potential blockers? That's even better than Thorn Elemental/Rhox. Add that to the fact that white loves combat-phase removal (damaging, sacrificing, destroying, and even exiling attackers and occasionally blockers), it seems only appropriate that a combination of all the above factors as a Mythic Rare would result in this: A card that destroys other potential attackers and blockers to give itself the most epic trample ever. Definitely the most power green/white has to offer.

I played a lot of games with this guy in my Mayael the Anima commander deck.
My experience was that it was amazing in some matchups (the ones involving lots of creature combat and creature stalls) but almost a straight-up blank in others (the ones where they draw a bunch of cards and cast a couple sweepers and bury you in value). Like, against green decks, sometimes it was just impossible for them to beat you, but against blue or black decks, it would just sort of hang back shyly like "Oh, if I attack, I kill my own Mayael to destroy your Solemn Simulacrum. Hmm."
The problem with this was that I felt like my deck was already good against those creature decks and I didn't need another card against them. (Blazing Archon was pretty much always the better tutor target.) Whereas against the control decks, my matchups were a lot worse, and I couldn't afford a dead card. (Or if not dead, then extremely situational.) There were times when I Tooth and Nailed for Novablast + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker for an ad hoc wrath, but that was a gimmicky trick and it always made me sad when I had to do it.
So in the end, I took Novablast out of my deck. It was okay, but it just wasn't consistently good enough. There were just too many times where I looked at it and thought, "Dammit, why did I have to draw you instead of a real wrath like Austere Command?"
If it had haste, well, that would have been a different story. Yikes!
