Great card. Perfect for land animation and man-land decks, and protection from land destruction.

I want to make a deck with this, Life and Limb and Earth Surge.

I would have prefered an 'Enchantment - Aura' with 'Enchant target land you control' ability. This would have give red or black decks a minor chance of getting rid of it.

Land destruction's worst nightmare. :(

It could be interesting to make a deck based around indestuctible manlands and zendikons.

It could be a sleeper hit, but i feel like it should have been green.

I could see this card being played early on and getting a couple of cheap wind zendikon's out. They don't look too bad at all in this sense. 2/2's for 1cmc with flying and are indestructible? I'll take it! Also def. good with all the man lands of course. I actually read on some website recently some guy posted how this was the worst card in the set and he hated pulling it and it was nothing but a junk rare. HAHA I bet he just pulled it like four times. I know there are a few cards that I just don't use in my style of play, and I've gotten some that I get quadruples of. It is frustrating. Anyways this is a great card in the right deck!

This card would be so much more amazing if it said "your lands" as opposed to "all lands."

That having been said, it pairs incredibly well with man-lands, like Celestial Colonnade.

DacenOctavio, please notice difference between key words destroy and sacrifice. Terra Eternal is not making any combo with Devastating Summons or Destructive Force. When you are sacrificing any permanent, indestructability will not affect it.

G/W mana ramp deck, Liege of the Tangle and this make an awesome army. Give them all trample or something and wreck face.

Overall, I've found very little use for this. Definitely useful if you run a lot of man lands, which I don't. My play group also bans the use of mass land destruction, so no Armageddon to worry about. At least at 3cmc it's cheap to cast.

White is the color of protection, but I just as easily could see this as Green, loving its land and creatures, after all.

Good to stop mass land destruction in your group, but in multiplayer you'd also be protecting pinpoint land destruction from taking out your opponent's Cabal Coffers, Gaea's Cradles, and other insane nonbasics that run rampant in Commander.

a niche card, but quite good for what it is.

A good land denial deck needs a ton of its cards to kill land; it's a pretty all-or-nothing strategy. This card... This damnation, horrible card... Wipes the strategy out.

Most land denial decks are predominately red. Many run lots of black. They won't be able to deal with this. Only land denial decks with a splash of green will be able to handle this.

A good land destruction deck will start blowing up land on turn two, meaning that they might stand a chance of keeping this off the table. But... This will be to land destruction what Tormod's Crypt is to reanimator. Merciless nemesis.

Sadly, will not help against the dumbdrazi annihilator ability, as it is a sacrifice. Sacred Ground, however, will help since your opponent controls the ability. Terra Eternal is still better for Armageddon shenanigans though.

Too bad nobody ever used this to make an all manland deck (at least not one that made a splash anyways). Would've been an interesting twist on standard.

Liege of the Tangle. While that combo was in standard, I spent so much deckbuilding time trying to make it feasable. It really wasn't viable.
Tried it with zendikons-nope.
Manlands-interesting, but ultimately a failure. Even Lightmine Field wasn't much help when I had to go on the defensive, and I could only attack with one, maybe 2 lands a turn.

The final, inevitable conclusion of Consecrate Land from the beginning of the game.

Close, Sadiah, but it would actually be to survive the giant plane-devouring monstrosities imprisoned beneath it.

Well, it affects all lands......I would recommend playing it in most EDH White Decks with Vedalken Orrery. Run it ALONGSIDE (same decklist, different turns) Armageddon. Both cards are simply staple effects. One is a bit of a Huge Hate Bomb that will lose you politics points with most of the table, even if it's a strategically necessary move for you and justifiable. The other will get you some of those points back if you use it to save some people's lands while someone ELSE is throwing a big Obliterate Nuke at the board.

+Vedalken Orrery
+Wrath of God
+Armageddon
+Terra Eternal

I see a lot of room for these 4 cards to be seen in the same {W}/X decks and gain a LOT of advantages by shrewd timing, without directly being overly "Group Huggy"-- and thus people don't feel you're the "Extra Mile Jerk" who Group BEAR Hugs with such Edric or Xedruu. Is there an anti-Wrath of God card that you could save everyone's creatures with?

If so, I'd HIGHLY recommend running this ENTIRE Suite in Numot, the Devastator. These cards with that General make it perfectly clear: You're here to Play EDH. You're here to Win, and Win Smart, not Stupid-- you want to Make Allies with opportune plays but you don't want your opponents to mistake you from someone whose "promises" imply lasting relationships-- you're out to choose who you want to showdown with, and once the table's down to 3, you'll likely backstab the player most behind to get the edge on the player most a threat, if you can do both in one turn.

If someone profits from your Terra Eternal or something else, that's because it was advantageous to you to get heat off you and to save your own creatures, and you're not above helping others to help yourselves. They were lucky. Every turn of the game you intend to play politics and you aren't looking for your best friend at the beginning of the game to be your Alliance Wing Man at the end of the game--- unless they 'volunteer' to help Kingmake you and are fine with you stepping on them to get to the finish line.

If you can play such a strategy and actually make longterm friends that you seem to frequently turn on-- CONGRATS, you must be a complete Boss Ass *** at manipulating people to do what you want. :P
Like Tucco and Blondie in "The Good, the Bad, the Ugly". Usually only works out that way if The Ugly is The Stupid.

Very, VERY "Dragon Emperor"-y! :D

THIS IS THE ONLY CARD IN GATHERER ----

that gives your OPPONENTS "Indestructible"

THIS is some interesting Design space that Commander REALLY needs to explore =D

Giving a benefit to EVERYONE's "Permanent Type X" (artifact, lands, enchantments, or creatures), so that it's definitely a benefit to you, but it's also USEABLE by you.

EDIT: Okay, I think they actually pretty much HAVE done this with Creatures a lot recently (Avatar of Slaughter types), but they've done close to Zilch for Artifact Benefits.

"All Artifacts have "{T}: Add {1} to your mana pool." would be interesting-- more than 1, or multicolored, would be maybe too much? Or wouldn't it? What if a card turned every single artifact into a Sol Ring O.O

Political Uses of giving THE WHOLE table mana from tapping: Gives your cards mana-production, ALSO shakes up the entire Economy of the Board and might suggest people to bring out their Artifact Wipers or Multi-Targetters against Artifacts. It would be fun and interesting and maybe even Amazing o.o The idea is basically you cast it, and suddenly the one with the most artifacts is SUCH a threat because they're now much more poweful than everyone else, that it's kind of like being in line to Inherit the Throne DURING THE WAR OF THE ROSES. "Oh you're the King now? That's cool- LONG LIVE THE KING! LET'S KILL THE KING!"

That would be epic. :3

They need to have a way to summon a huge pile of fragile creatures for your opponents too-- something that is powerful to attack with but weak to defend with, like either Illusions or Can't Block Goblins. YAY! EVIL PRESENTS! :D
