One of the very few cards that I've never even considered removing from my Naya deck. The ability to grant indestructibility to my other creatures is a huge advantage, especially given that my opponents tend to favour Doomblade and the like for creature killing.

This card really is insane with vigor, except for exiling your creatures can't be burned, and can't be destroyed with destroy cards. Still got to watch out for a path to exile, but thats what vines of the vastwood or shieldng plax is for.

I heart this card. So hard for my friends to get rid of it once it's on the table. I am also happy that it came out of the Alara block while still only costing one color of mana.
Elfie: Look at the rules text. You do not have to tap him; why do you think he's so good? If you've got the mana, you can keep all your 5/X's alive through a Day of Judgment - or most removal - or even just combat in general.

Path to Exile... seems like some dont like its vitality.
Turn 1: Forest + Llanowar Elves or Birds of Paradise *Note: both mana producers should be in the same deck* Turn 2: Khalni Heart Expedition + Forest + Elves/Birds Turn 3: Explore + 2 Forests, sac KHE for 2 more lands, including a Plains or two. Turn 4: Forest for 9 mana threshold, Spearbreaker Behemoth + Canopy Cover in the same turn. Turn 5: Play Behemoth Sledge and equip it to SB. Bash with SB. Keep bashing for great justice.
Strengths: assuming you can make it to turn 5, you will have a 7/7 Indestructible Lifelinking Trampler that cannot be targeted by your opponent's spells or abilities and can only be blocked by flyers and reachers. From turn 5 onwards, your life should be alot easier. Canopy Cover is one of the most important elements here, to protect your SB from Act of Treason/Mind Control, which would otherwise be devastating!
Weaknesses: Canopy Cover and Behemoth Sledge can be destroyed. By turn 5 you could be at a significant disadvantage already from having no early/midrange attackers or damage spells. Cards that can help you survive until SB is online include Safe Passage and Grazing Gladehart. Vines of Vastwood is an alternative to Canopy Cover, and you would probably want both to ensure that SB and your Elves/Birds survive. Lastly, Nature's Spiral could be be handy, functioning as an extra 4 copies of all your vital permanents if they are destroyed.
Decklist:
4 Llanowar Elves 4 Birds of Paradise 4 Grazing Gladehart 4 Spearbreaker Behemoth 4 Borderland Ranger (to get extra lands into your hand for Exploring, and as an extra midrange creature that can be equipped).
4 Stirring Wildwoods (can be pumped with Vines in a pinch, and can then be made Indy by SB) or other G/W dual land. 1 Plains (just in case ;) ) 11 Forests
OR for a simpler (and cheaper) land mix:
2 Plains 14 Forests
You could also try to fit in Dread Statuary, but this would require play-testing to see if the land ratio still works.

Awright, now listen. Iunno if this makes me even more of a nerd than the rest of you, but I personally like to imagine what's happening on the field when I play a spell or combat damage is dealt or whatever. Like blocking a Sun Titan with a Grave Titan.
That said... well... I used Crib Swap on this guy once. Could someone explain to me how in the hell that would go?

Im running a green white soul sisters deck with ajani's pridemates. I love to combo Spearbreaker Behemoth, Ajani's pridemate (assuming its power is higher than 5) and my favorite card. Novablast wurm! Sweeping the field while attacking for mass damage? Yes please :)

Everyone just exiles, bounces, and puts things on the bottom of your library.

My first "Aha" moment in this game was when I was playing against my brother who had this guy out and I cast Pacifism on it. I was like "Its not destroying it so ha!"

Yeah, red burn is fun and all until the green guy taps some forests and plays something you have no hope of killing with mere mountains alone. Thank MaRo for Zoo. {T} a Plains, boom! Your dude is exiled with my little instant from Conflux and my little red and green dudes get in there.
Zoo: It's like a green deck, a burn deck, and a white control deck all rolled into one delicious fast food package.
Stuff like this guy ends games if you don't have the right removal

@Aburaishi: Well, one person would be left with a 1/1 changeling. The other person... is a ninja from the moon who kidnapped a force of nature and 'ported to Jupiter, where she dumped the absolutely mammoth behemoth into the icy gravity well that that planet is. However, I saved the Spearbreaker from near eternal torment with a nicely timed Pull from Eternity. Imagine having the behemoth in a similar crib though... "Do you want some milk?" It would have been nicer as a 7/7. Oh well, it still OWNS.
it is indestructable, it is a 5/5, and it can make other 5/# indestuctable, really, for 7 mana that is awesome good
