This card is great to pair up with Timber Protector. Very useful in a treefolk deck so long as no one screws with your colour :P.

This on Uril, the Miststalker makes him a 9/9 that is nearly impossible to get rid of. Give him trample and your set. :)

A card made to go with Phytohydra and no mistake. A 3/3 Flying creature that can't be targeted by a Destroy spell, AND just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger whenever it blocks or is blocked.
Even Leviathans and Dragons will tremble before it after a turn or two!
Put this on Uril, the Miststalker along with scourge of the nobilis, makes him a 14/13 with flying, indestructable, and lifelink. Just can't beat that.

Indestructibility...riddle me this...Why is something said "indestructible" can be "destroyed" by removing it from the game?
P.S. Good for either Naya or Bant.

you can also kill an Indestructable creature with Wither, as once it is a 0/0 its no longer legally capable of being in play

@ Jokergius
It isn't "destroyed" when it's removed from the game. It's more like it's taken to another dimension where it can't have any effect on dimension where the MTG battle is taking place.
As for -1/-1 counters being able to destroy indestructible creatures I think this makes sense. When something gets "withered" it's like it's getting smaller and smaller. So when it gets to zero toughness it's like it has been made too small to see or have an effect on the battle. Or, as an alternate idea if you prefer, you could think of it becoming so small as to not even exist anymore (so it wasn't destroyed, it just became too small to exist).
Just some ideas to maybe help explain the seeming paradox.
It seems to me that the main viable threat to Oversoul of Dusk with this on it is stillPath to Exile. Great cards none-the-less though.

This card is sometimes incredibly underrated, effectivley being the indestructible enchantment in green for 1 less mana that can potentially also make white and green creatures bigger and add flying. There are so many early creatures to attach this too that would just make them nuts, like a naya hushblade on turn 2, and followed up by shield of the oversoul turn 3, for a 5/4, flying, shroud, indestructible creature. Even on a green only creature, imagine it on something like a sable stag, a 4/4, indestructible, protection blue and black, that's like a creature you might pay 6 or 7 mana for. Uril was also just made for this card, as it's pretty insane when the two come together. Even if the creature does eventually get removed, your giving your opponent such a hard time of finding a way to do it you can play a lot in the meantime. For example, a simple shield of oversoul to a rampaging baloths would be a very difficult to get rid of 7/7 trampler who makes 4/4 tokens per turn, even if your opponent does eventually remove it will cause a lot of havoc.
@zulp, because the indestructibility part only works on green creatures, indestructibility says any permanent.

Probably the best of the X of the Y auras in the cycle.

Zulp: Indestructibility can target non-creature permanents. And work on non-green creatures. Maybe it's not a great card, but there's a world of difference.

I love doing this:
"Have you ever heard of a flying indestructible wolf..?
@Joker: Because something that is "Exiled" isn't "Destroyed", nitwit.
@ Zulp: Because it can hit all permanents, not just creatures, and doesn't require a creature to be green to give it indestructibility. Not saying it's better, just that it's not strictly worse than this.
Anyway one of my favorite of the cycle, the abilities don't really sinc or anything, but you can't beat a beefy indestructible flier.

all right, this card would be perfect in combination with novablast wurm. that would mean a 9/9 creature with flying, which can't be destroyed and that, whenever it would attack, can destroy al other creatures, But Rhys the Redeemed is nice too.

The indestructibility it grants definitely helps to alleviate the normal card disadvantage that auras suffer from. However, exile effects still abound, so play with caution.

This card is so good just because of the indestructibility. That alone would have made this card good. The flying is just icing on the cake.

Please tell me someone has mentioned autochthon wurm. An 11/16 indestructible trample flyer? Timmy like.
What's better than Shield of the Oversoul on a Novablast Wurm?
Two Shields on two Wurms.

my favorite play for this is plopping it on Qasali Pridemage on turn 3 and swinging with the pridemage, who while attacking alone is a 5/5 indestructible flier.

Seems like a good card. Gives a moderate p/t boost, grants evasion, and provides removal resistance. Its the secret trinity for successful auras.

I know nova blast wurn is probably the best but consider Loxodon Smiter
Lifelink, first strike, double strike, trample, indestructible, flying, deathtouch, vigilance, shroud, haste Whenever this creature deals combat damage to an opponent, draw a card. Whenever this creature deals combat damage to an opponent, that player discards a card. This creature can't be blocked. All creatures able to block this creature do so. R/W: This creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn. 24/24
