I wanted to make an "X" deck with cards like Flameblast Dragon and Helix Pinnacle, along with four Rosheen Meanderers, until I realized she's a legendary creature. I don't like putting multiple legendary creatures of the same name in a deck.
The card is still good as a 4/4 for four mana. That stat to cost ratio is unheard of that early in the game.
My elder dragon highlander commander, ah good card.

Haha, good thing she's Legendary. A 4/4 for 4 in Red is good. With an ability that helps Fireball, she'd be insane, other wise. I think Green could handle, it though. Not many X things in Green.

Maybe iMorphious was just pointing out the fact that with this creature you're going to be playing a lot of X spells and cards like Mana Flare and Heartbeat of Spring are good for the type of deck your building. iMorphious may or may not be an idiot but you are definitely an ass.

Not a fan. The flavor doesn't make sense, and there's no real reason she couldn't have been non-legendary.
I'm pretty sure you can sneak in some form of green X draw spell to get you there too... by x draw spell i mean something reliant on x like saccing primordial hydra to greater good

Jannisary: Legendary creatures are always better when the legendary supertype is applied as "Extra Vorthos" rather than as a Development Trick.

Except in special text-box limits cases like Melek, Izzet Paragon, Legends should always have flavortext, and the flavor text combined with the subtypeline should be enough to justify the Legendary supertype.
In EDH, essentially almost every creature is Legendary except Tokens. Especially with the new rules.
For most Common and Uncommon Creatures, they just shouldn't be Legendary, like Elite Vanguard, because that would be stupid, but I would be able to be happy if every Rare or Mythic creature was a Legendary.
Also she taps for {4}. Screw you if you think that's not Legendary.

Um... well you could run mana flare, heartbeat of spring, candelabra of tawnos, magus of the candelabra, voltaic construct, and/or mycosynth lattice/liquimetal coating all in the same commander deck. Ideally it would be a magical christmas land situation, but at least you'd be running seasonal colours to support it :D
