Heh this might make green infect decks be THE infect deck.

Ehhhh.....
This card cost 4 mana to equal Giant Growth (1 mana), and 5 mana to equal a kicked Vines of Vastwood (2 mana). Only advantage this card offers is very late game where you have a stupid amount of mana. The art alone cannot save this card's fate.

Won't see constructed play, but in limited it will win games for the same reason that Tainted Strike will. Players won't block an infect creature thinking they can handle the few additional poison counters, and then get instagibbed by the buff.

Since the designers wanted poison and non-poison damage to be at similar power levels in limited play, they made this the set's green pump spell, not some one-drop with a fixed effect (Can you imagine a limited poison deck with 3-4 Giant Growth or Prey's Vengeance in it?). I'm not a very good tourney player yet, but I had to laugh when I played it on a Plague Stinger with =7. Since I was attacking with two stingers, I sent my opponent straight from one to ten poison counters in a single flap of a thrummingbird's wings. :)

At the pre-release, my friend was mana flooded the whole game and finally managed to get his 2/3 infect out. He swings and says "Just take it, man. Whatever." I block with a Sylvok replica and he scoops. Turns out he had this in hand and was ready to turn his guy into a 10/11 FTW. Don't underestimate this thing's use in limited. Ever.

How can people rate this so highly? As was already said: - for 4 mana you get a giant growth - for 8 mana you get a might of oaks That's good? How?
Imagine you'd add a cantrip effect to this card, simply the line "draw a card". - for one mana, you'd cycle it for no effect - for two mana you'd get an aggressive urge - for three mana you'd get a wildsize without the trample - for four mana you'd get a sudden strength
So that would make this a balanced card. Without card draw? Unplayable in any constructed deck and even in limited not great. Thanks for screwing up this opportunity wotc. T_T 0.5/5

Absurdly in Limited... especially with infest. This should have been a sorcery and/or a red spell... just to increase the difficulties for infest decks. With Tumble Magnet, you can tap a creature during the end of his turn than tap another one during your turn and you should nearly always have a creature advantage. One creature with infest can be enough to end the game.

This card is garbage. Any way you look at it, using in a deck means you just wasted a spot that could have had something better.

Why would anyone even consider this card over Primal Bellow?
For Untamed Might to give your creature +10/+10, you have to pay 11 mana. For Primal Bellow to give your creature +10/+10, all you need is to have 10 forests. You don't even need to spend the mana. Then you end up with 9 more mana left to spend on other potent effects in that same turn.
This card would be a waste of mana if you were to pay enough to make it effective.

There is no card that has won more games in Som Draft than Untamed Might. Period.

wow some of you people need imaginations. Remember its green. Mana ramp? And its only one card. So for a +10/+10 bonus, you need this one card, or 3 vines of vastwood, or 4 giant growths. Use it mid-late game. Vines of Vastwood is better early game. This deserves full 5/5.

B/G infect in Limited. Makes me happy, since Standard is nearly broken from the GG/infect combo.

If you look at fixed mana costs, there are indeed better cards than Untamed Might. But this card is just so flexible! If you have nothing else to do, than cast a card to pump your creature, why use a card with lower mana cost and a weaker effect, when you have nothing to lose when going all out and pump it for more? While cards with fixed mana costs leave you calculating how you can precisely use the lands you have, this card can just be adjusted so that it fits in with your scheme.
Some people here seem to be missing the point. Paying four mana simply to get a +3+3 bonus which could easily be granted is not what this card is for. I would never, never use this card as a giant growth. Never. See below:
"For Untamed Might to give your creature +10/+10, you have to pay 11 mana. For Primal Bellow to give your creature +10/+10, all you need is to have 10 forests. You don't even need to spend the mana."
--Kelrath
This is assuming that you are running a mono green deck. You won't always have 10 forests in play, often you will have other lands that generate green mana, cards like overgrowth, etc. If you were using a mono green deck this would be much less effective than primal bellow. I run 2 of these in a {g}{u}{w} landfall deck, with high effectiveness. I can easily get a +12+12 bonus with this on the 5th turn. By then a windrider eel or something similar is in play and I'm swinging for 20 damage. This card is powerful, do not underestimate. Most effective with mana ramp decks or multi-colour landfall decks.

When I think of untamed might I always picture a weak Elf punching a weak Vedalkan. Makes perfect sense. They couldn't use a Beast or Lizard here?

@Kelrath: Because not every deck plays strictly basic forests, not every deck is mono-green, and not every mana source is a land. If I wanted an effect like this in an Elfball deck (for example), since not all of my lands are forests and the bulk of my mana comes from tapping creatures, then I would definitely want this over Primal Bellow.
EDIT: This card is actually pretty damn good. I wouldn't run it in STANDARD. But any other format it works very well.

A list of cards that its HILARIOUS with
blighted agent spinebiter Either of those mothers hit someone beefed up with this guy and its a MAJOR chunk out of their poison tolerance . You could also use it at ANY time to boost a dude with Livewire lash and do some nice infect AND grant him a few extra points . But Giant growth is better in some situations ,but if you have the mana ,it can WIN the game !
I don't know any other unblock-able infect guys but any unblock-able infect-er or flyer is nasty .
I would give it a 4/5 if I could comment but I cant for some reason ....

A stellar way to blow any leftover mana that you have (which tends to be a LOT, in a mono green deck). Use this with some Mana Reflections and some Basalt monoliths to give one of your unblocked creatures +infinity/+infinity until end of turn. After doing this combo, proceed to flip over the table you are using, take off your shirt, and FALCON PUNCH your opponent - he had it coming
Crap. I just got confirmation bias by flavor text.

You know what I'd like to see? An X-costed mass pump spell. IE {X}{G}{G}{G} Sorcery Creatures you control get +X/+X until end of turn. or {X}{G}{G}{G}{G} Sorcery Creatures you control get +X/+X and gain trample until the end of your turn.
