I can't help but notice, Forgeling, that you felt it necessary to cut and paste the same comment onto 5 different card comment pages. Feeling ignored I guess?
i don't like the artwork of the card... it has a huge torso than tiny little arms/tail, there is also some wierd shadow across his face that looks like a moustace...

@sly92: That "weird mustache" you're referring to ... that wouldn't happen to be its mouth?
And regarding the art, I like it. It's a twisted abomination with no heart (at least I'm pretty sure), which is why it looks so weird and has that hole in its chest. Another thing I like about The Unspeakable is that it can pick up Reach Through Mists, Peer Through Depths and Sift Through Sands from your graveyard again once you start swining, which can be pretty useful in case your opponent decides to aim removal at its face.
Try Blessed Breath, an arcane spell that gives a creature protection. You keep The Unspeakable alive and he will return Blessed Breath back to your hand over and over.

Guys, the hole on his chest is in the shape of a sword...I don't think that is a coincidence.

Unlike Nemesis of Reason, you can talk about The Unspeakable, despite him being unspeakable and all.
9 for a creature that will get you back your arcane synergy, which, by the time you have 9 mana, there should be a lot to get back. The person I play most with abuses his collection of kamigawa, so i see this happening quite a bit. Sure, it takes all year, but who needs to win games by turn 7?
When I first started playing, the first deck I made (like many other people) was a green stompy deck. This card led me to make the transition from green stompy to blue control, and I've never once looked back.

It feels unfair. We can comment on this card but this card cannot subject to our opinions.

This is Kami of knowledge and when he appeared to people who wanted to find out more about him, all those people did for the rest of their lives was babble nonsense that would traumatize anyone who would hear it.

This is actually kind of disappointing for costing 9 and having it's own cycle.

Well, I can't really comment on it, since it's Unspeakable. baboomtish
I doubt I am the first to say this about its flavortext... but...

Is that... what I think it is? Should this be X rated? Legendary Blue Tramplers Gone Wild!

I think The Unspeakable was probably a reference to Spirit of the Night. They are both legendary spirits. They both cost 9, with three mana symbols. Most notably, they both have three cards which can be combined to fetch them.

BAM! free The Unspeakable a 7/8 Flying Trampling monstrosity for only a 6 mana investment that you can attack with by turn 5
Well don't that beat all.

It's hardly the first blue trampler...
Deep Spawn
Emberwilde Caliph
Firestorm Hellkite
Fungal Shambler
Leviathan
Polar Kraken
Silver Erne (honestly, the first one I thought of...probably because of the combination of flying and trample at that time)
Taniwha (another bizarre ability combo)
...and it's hardly been the last...
Assault Zeppelid
Blood Tyrant
Bringer of the Blue Dawn
Child of Alara
Horde of Notions
Inkwell Leviathan
Jokulmorder
Mindleech Mass
Simic Sky Swallower
...and a few can get the ability when cast, even if they don't have it printed...
Academy Researchers (I prefer it to become a 4/4 flyer with shroud, but...)
Body Double
Clone
Escaped Shapeshifter
Iridescent Drake
Jwari Shapeshifter
Quicksilver Gargantuan
Sakashima the Impostor
Vesuvian Doppleganger
Vesuvian Shapeshifter
Volrath's Shapeshifter
