A very aptly named card, I find myself wondering why I don't have any. On a side note, I like that the guy in this pic is strapped with grafted wargear.

Perfect name. Amazing for agressive decks (Goblins come to mind), especially when things like Brightstone Ritual are used)

Very good card in general.. if imprinted/exiled with Spellbinder, and then Spellbinder is equipped to an unblockable creature, then it is nearly an instant win. Each hit with the unblockable triggers Savage Beating which gives another opportunity for the creature to hit, and it cycles like this until the opponent is dead. I wouldn't consider it an infinite combo, as it only works so long as the opponent has life to lose, so it is definitely finite. Also, a simple "destroy creature" or "destroy artifact" instant would break this up. But it is devastating if the opponent doesn't have such a spell in hand, or else not enough mana to cast it.

I ve been attacked two times with this and it means two lost games... Survive to two double strike attack is very hard once on the first attack you are losing many creatures ...
i would not mind putting my opponents creatures to sleep and then playing this card next turn. hard, because you know the whole u/r thing and that this costs three specific mana and sleep 2, but man. every creature hitting my opponent 4 times? yes please. any 5/5 could spell instant death to your opponent. Actually, this happened to me. I was playing a deck that I had never used before, and i managed to get him down to like 8 life, and I had two creatures. we were both kind of mana screwed. But anyway he Panic Attacked and then did this... it was not pretty. The ability to basically swing team four times in one turn is.. epic to say the least

Wow. Reduces one player to bloody bag of snot. And here I thought Waves of Aggression was the best of its type.

@CyberCod It's definitely an infinite loop, but it's not an infinite mandatory loop. The reason being is that the loop ends if you don't attack with the creature that Spellbinder is equipped to, and you don't have to attack if you don't want to.

People always seem to be skeptical of the value of red in Commander.
Well, it does have cards like this, at least.

Has perfect synergy with Stranglehold. If you don't see it the first time you read the card, you never will.

dont play it alot but extremely brutal. i can envision a deck with this, kiln fiend, wee dragonauts and some brute forces to murder your opponent straight up! whats the saying? if youve never contemplated murder, than youve never been in love. i love my friends!
@Shinigami2099: It seems to me that Reverberate wouldn't really work for the caster of this spell, because even if you do get a third combat phase (I'm not sure with the wording), your creatures wouldn't untap for it. Your creatures would simply untap "twice" before the second combat phase. However, it would be hilarious if an opponent casted Reverberate on this.

True story, pause a little bit before tapping those last two mountains just to savor the desperate pangs of hope that will soon be leaving your opponent's face in the form of sweet, sweet tears.
What I'm saying is, this is an extremely appropriately named card.

I run this in my Progenitus EDH. With little things out like Mirari's Wake out, this 1) gets easier to cast and 2) says "Haha, I get to kill two people."

Seems very useful in a edh deck. Exile with jeleva, swing, cast it, get to swing again and get another spell in or even kill them. Imagine swinging with jeleva, casting this, then casting someones .
