Nice. In general, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker would be a better choice, but you can have more than one of this guy, and the starting investment is less. An interesting use this guy might have for creative players is to copy a color-intensive creature for a temporary boost in Devotion. Remember, token copies have mana costs too!

Copies legendary creatures. Kiki Jiki Does not.

Why not both?

.................................................Aurelia is still pretty good with splinter twin anyway......

Once again, I am glad red is getting access to interesting effects. Who knows: maybe Keranos will even have this sort of "flicker clone" effect when he arrives in Journey into Nyx. To be sure, Fellhide here is doubtful to see any competitive play: a four-drop that does nothing the turn it comes into play is bad for aggro and four-mana creature that doesn't win until next turn is usually too slow and/or expensive for a combo list. Still, he inspires people's brewing instincts, and that's important, too. Without creativity and puzzles to solve, this game we all love loses much of its magic.

Kiki-Kiki, the balanced one.

Mediocre card, looks better because the rest of this sad is SO bad.

Guys this can copy creatures your opponent controls whereas Klik-jiki can't. That means this will be swinging with the best creature on either side of the board.

Splashable Kiki-Jiki at a 4-drop, what could go wrong?

Standard combo: Aurelia, The Warleader, Felhide Spirit, a method of tapping itself, and mana creatures. Tap/attack with itself & attack with Aurelia. When Aurelia's trigger goes off, use your creatures to produce 1Red, then untap them and Felhide Spirit. Spend the 1Red to create a copy of Aurelia, choosing to keep the copy. Aurelia dies. At the beginning of the extra combat, start again with the new Aurelia, which triggers its ability because it's the first time THAT Aurelia has attacked this turn. Rinse and repeat for unlimited untapping & attacking.

Some method of tapping itself or attacking without danger:
Karametra's Favor
Lightning Volley
Phenax, God of Deception
Retraction Helix
Hidden Strings
Aqueous Form
Flitterstep Eidolon
Teleportal
Thassa, God of the Sea
Oracle's Insight
Ephara's Warden
Rogue's Passage
Prowler's Helm

Plus creatures that can tap for at least 1R:
Karametra's Favor
Karametra's Acolyte
Manaweft Sliver
Opaline Unicorn
Sylvan Caryatid
Elvish Mystic
Gyre Sage
Voyaging Satyr
Greenside Watcher
Zhur-Taa Druid
Axebane Guardian

Of course, the combo is very vulnerable to removal. Killing the Spiritbinder right after you choose to keep the token Aurelia costs you both your combo pieces, and probably the game.

At the prerelease I managed to enchant him with someone or other's favor that let him tap for any mana. Next turn, my opponent dropped a Stormbreath Dragon. Weight of the Underworld dropped it to a useless amount and then this bad boy copied it each turn. >:)

Does this guy's ability stack? Like if you pay 1Red to copy a creature could you pay 1Red to do it again before he untaps again?

I might be missing something, but... you can populate the token, can't you? Rootborn Defences comes to mind. I'd brew a janky combo deck with Ender-A's suggestion, maybe a Naya one with elves and Boros Charm to protect.

This fellow fits a Minotaur aggro deck perfectly. With Ragemonger on the field, Spiritbinder and Kragma Warcaller both drop for 3, and Spiritbinder can always copy whichever Minotaurs are hitting your opponents hardest. If you want him to have haste, Hammer of Purphoros provides the answer.

In Modern, Umbral Mantle will work wonders with Spiritbinder, allowing you to pump him up, copy a creature, and swing.

This could be a hell of a lot of fun if you started copying Oracle of Bones or Fanatic of Mogis or other ETB creatures.

Even if it didn't have a swank ability, it's a four cmc 3/4 in red. Strictly better than Hill Giant much?

Unless there's something I'm missing. You should be able to Populate with this to get a permanent copy of any creature. The exile is an effect of Felhide Spiritbonder, not the token itself, and should only affect the token created by the Spiritbonder.

Pharagax Giant. In my minotaur tribal deck at the prerelease, it was an awesome combo

I get the feeling this is a noob question and I should know better, but...can it copy itself? Since it says "another" I'm guessing not. I want to run him in a creature steal/sac deck, and he'll provide sacrifice if they're not playing a creature-heavy deck. But with that deck there aren't usually creatures on the board, so I'll probably end up with just him more often then not.

another solid score for minotaur tribal. minotaur aggressor looks much better when you only have to pay the shipping on a second one

At first I thought it was okay, then I saw it can copy your opponents creature too, then I realized just how good this really is.
