Awesome, we get to see red's soft, tender, artsy side! Interesting variation on Manalith.
Still, strictly worse than Alloy Myr (+1/+0 and a supported tribe) and Scuttlemutt (+1/+0, different supported tribe, AND changes other creature's colors temporarily) Still, fine for limited and, as almost always in Theros, great art.
Relatively useless in Theros limited, as you will have only a few non-mono-colored cards.

Jeez, Purphoros, if that's your most astounding work of art, maybe stick to making golems out of mountains, huh?

If that's the case, Candy Mountain is almost certainly his MOST astounding work of art.

I would definitely read and/or write Purphoros x Nylea fanfiction. Or maybe it's Nylea x Purphoros. Not sure what rules apply when the characters involved are nigh-omnipotent embodiments of mana.

I'm sorry, what? Alloy Myr functional reprint with one less power? Okay.

It is a unicorn. Possibly one of the most graceful and enchanting mythological creatures there are. And yet, somehow, Alloy Myr shows more grace and adorableness than his companion of artificial finesse.

If this is seriously a Robot Unicorn Attack reference, then this definitely deserves 5 out of 5 stars.
As for this one, I've got to agree it is strictly worse than the myr or scarecrow, 1 power can make a big difference and their types are rarely a bad thing. Of course it's kind of hard to compare to all the others, Most aren't creatures, so they're a bit more secure to stay on the field. The Ingot has indestructible, which I think is fantastic for a noncreature artifact (can't -/- something that doesn't have p/t) And the chromatic lantern has one of the crazier static abilities I've seen for such a cheap colorless cost. Spectral searchlight is probably the most unique in my opinion, I use to do random damage to people with it back in the manaburn days. Anyways, this thing is still pretty nice for what it does. 3.5/5
My friend Opaline is the best friend a pony could ever have, and she's always there to help cast anypony. The only trouble is, she makes narrow and expensive mana production look bad. So while friendship is about giving of our slice of the color pie, it's also about accepting what our artifact friends have to offer.
But, srsly, why don't just functional reprint Alloy Myr? I mean, is a Robot Rainbow-spitting Unicorn with a G-D horn! Where is his +1/+0, WotC?
@sweetgab
Demigods, maybe. Lesser multi-colored gods in the upcoming sets of the block.

I'm never going to play one, but it looks GORGEOUS in foil.

Yes, it's less powerful than the similar card from the Artifact set, as well as less powerful than the card from the multicolor Color Matters set where fixing was imperative. On the other hand, it's a unicorn.

Still a decent card though.
Also, MFW I realized that this was a robot Unicorn. Alas, I don't think it'll be doing a lot of attacking.
