Lot's of creatures in these colors REALLY want to connect to the opponent and trigger abilities.

Now you're thinking with- no, no, I can't say it, it's too obvious, I'm sorry.

Dammit, ButlerOfBolas, that was what I was going to say!

Although it would be 4 colours, just imagine Vraska ultimate and this.

actually, forget the overload cost.

Pros like me know how powerful an ability that overload can be. This card will be an instant win pretty much all of the time.

Now the Izzet are thinking with portals.
And they can take all their compagnon cubes with them if they can afford to pay 3RedBlue!

Hard to imagine this only takes them a single blue mana while ancient mages had to gather the high concentration of three blue mana for a single teleport.
Ladies and gentlemen: This is the miracle of technology. This is progress. This is Overrun by Overload.

While it may be slower, I do prefer Distortion Strike. Whenever I play Izzet colors, it's usually one large creature rather than a swarm.

Now you're thinking with teleportals.

This card makes me want to run an Izzet deck. Sure, its normal effect is a strictly worse Distortion Strike, but it has an outstanding overload effect, and with Electromancers you can make it even easier to cast. 5/5

Just another overrun variant. This time for UR. No medals for creativity.

You know, as much as I like this card conceptually, to me it kind of shows what's wrong with RtR Izzet: Izzet isn't a creature guild. Hell, a lot of the guilds seem to have mechanics that wore solely with creatures now. Scavenge, Populate, and Unleash are all creature specific, and Overload and Detain are both commonly simply creatures. And in Gatecrash, we have Bloodrush (Which is acceptable, it's Gruul.), Battalion (Again, acceptable), Evolve, Cipher, and Extort, the only keyword in the RtR block that has absolutely nothing to do with creatures.

Is this what the game has come to? Does even IZZET need to have crazy creature support? I want to make an Izzet deck that uses no creatures, and it's REALLY HARD to find things that work. Izzet has almost no ways to deal with creatures, and, well, not exactly the greatest lineup of creatures itself.

I really feel R&D dropped the ball with this one. There are so many other mechanics that could've been chosen, and they decided to go with an awkward, clunky, creature focused keyword like Overload. Wizards. I am disappoint.

I take this card as secret confirmation that the creative team watches Friendship is Witchcraft.

My friends and I always say, "Oh no, I've been teleportaled!" whenever we see it.

ENGINEER IS CREDIT TO TEAM!

EDIT: Teleporters work for spies too. This thing was made for cipher.

Translates to
"Each creature named Charmbreaker Devils that you control gets +5/+0 and is unblockable this turn."

5/5 Love the Portals reference

Card straight up wins games, bomb in limited and I completely agree with it being a UR overrun.

Oh and DoragonShinzui the secret to making this card good is splashing it in your mostly RG or BR deck, then it's just nutty.

an excellent finisher with Young Pyromancer and Nivix Cyclops. With enough mana it works with them in both modes.
