Defenders are bad, they said.

They only help you lose slower, they said.

AUUUUUGH, they said.

Jokes aside, this is pretty much worse than Aqueous Form, which is in the same set. Still, there's only one wall in Theros, and this can bounce. Plus it can be played in any color. Seriously though, don't run this in blue. Just don't. (Unless you snagged a Medomi the Ageless. Then hoard them all.

In limited, this is a great, great card. This set's Rogue's Passage.

Also, the first card to specifically interact with Walls since M10. In case anyone asks, non-Wall defender can NOT block a creature equipped with this.

Heh, haven't seen "can't be blocked except by walls" on a card for a long time. And yes, there is only one wall in the set and only, like, three walls in all of standard, so this might as well read "unblockable." Or "can't be blocked," I guess. Gah, I'm still getting used to that.

It's actually quite nice. Not as good as Whispersilk Cloak, but it gets the job done.

This is likely a reference to Hades' helmet of invisibility, which was granted to him by the cyclops prior to the battle with the Titans. Hades' name itself means "invisible" in ancient doric accent.

A reference to the helmet of Hades. Also a reference to Invisibility.

This might as well say "Equipped creature can't be blocked except by Mnemonic Wall" in Theros limited.

Solid way to break a massive board stall in a limited match. A good creature is great, but it can get multi-blocked and is susceptible to removal. An evasive equipment card stays on the board and dodges most removal.

Am I the only one who though of Monster Hunter in the flavour text?

It's a bit like trailblazer boots. Except instead of relying on your opponents to make your creature unblockable, it relies on your opponent not having walls. There aren't that many useful walls out there. Chameleon Colossus, Mutavault, Mnemonic Wall? If giving your creature evasions is what you care about, it's going to do the job 99 times out of 100. This can even get past some defenders that aren't walls.

Works well with prowl, amusingly enough.

Makes Deathcult Rogue unblockable except by Wall Rogues.

Works wonders with Master of Cruelties

Not strictly better than whispersilk guys. It's one mana less, making it more usable in some decks, my Lich deck being one.

Makes me wonder who the Therosian version of Perseus is. Or where his sword is, for that matter.
