Not awesome, but seriously, this card is good. Like Lobber Crew and Llanowar Elves combined...

I have a question regarding Zhur-Taa Druid's ability. His ability gives the player an extra forest mana to his mana pool. Does this mana last forever or until the end of the turn?

@Veltus - I believe the mana pool is emptied as each phase ends. which means, if you have 1 mana left in your mana pool at the 1st main phase, you have 0 mana in that pool as the combat phase starts.
Before, there was this mana burn which deals 1 damage to you for each unused mana in your mana pool but now mana burn is obsolete.

chainsmoker is right, but I wanted to add something. A forest has the same "tap: add one green mana to your mana pool" ability that this guy has. Go look at the old lands, they all still have the ability written on them. They stopped printing it though, thinking it was so obvious no one needed the reminder.

As to this card, im really surprised people don't seem to like it. It just seems so perfect for its colors. Get the mana to put a big creature out, while at the same time getting your opponent that much closer to lethal range. Its very rare that you see really offensive mana ramp (noble hierarch is the only other one that comes to mind), so I would think people would jump on a card like this.

@Flavour text: That's what I said when they cut mana burn. Especially since Zendikar, which was the very next block, was described as having "extra volatile mana". So not only did they cut the "volatility" of mana entirely, they did this right before a block where the mechanic would have fitted perfectly!

Best friends with Bloodthirst mechanic...Speaking of which, was the previous Gruulish way to say "hi" to enemies's life points.
