WOOT first post. And, highest rated card on the site, at least for the moment!

I prefer Vorosh, the Hunter, but Intet is easily my second favorite commander of all time. So much random good time fun.

When you think about it, his inclusion in the RUG Commander deck goes beyond his colors. The ability to cast something without paying for it is just what Riku of Two Reflections likes. Save that mana for copying shenanigans.

I'm making a chaos deck in these colors and I think this fits the general's place better than the two new

This guy easily has the most funn ability of the Planar Chaos dragons. So... yeah

I know Intet doesn't play nicely with X. But what of buyback and kicker? Are those still permitted, or does the mandatory "without paying its mana cost" interdict those? (I'm considering using her with, among other things, Cetavolver and Haze of Rage.)

Dissapointed his deck didn't come w/ the Scrying sheets engine.
Oh well... He works great with riku saving your mana for stupidness.
Add too the deck ponder, preordain, noxious revival, Sylvan library, and YES

Cute how the exile term makes the card just fit in the text box this time without having to resort to lowering the font size.

I've been brainstorming a Commander deck that would use Cerebral Eruption, Kaboom! and Explosive Reveal style effects with Noxious Revival, Reclaim. It's taking a LONG time :P

P.S. have some respect, Intet is a female ;)

I was surprised when I learned that Wizards decided to reprint the original wedge commanders in the Commander supplement. I thought a major selling point of it was that everyone was free to play wedges without being stuck with a Planar Chaos dragon as their general. "We've cast off your chains so that you are free to experience the world in it's full glory and wonder. But if you're bewildered by all that nuance, here's your old general who doesn't fit the theme of the precon at all."

Fits the deck quite well, with Riku, as mentioned.

Also, I love how she has green and red wings, to go with her Blue body. And how perfectly she fits the perfect wedge.

So much fun! And great colors! She is my favorite general by far.
I would definitely suggest running Leyline of Anticipation or the like with her, as this allows you to empty the exile zone of free-to-play cards before she dies, if that should happen.
Mystical Tutoring into a Time Stretch when Intet's ability triggers is mean, but very good. And kicking a free Rite of Replication on a Bogardan Hellkite or Primeval Titan is super fun. Use the left over mana to activate Riku of Two Reflections as many times as possible. And remember your Fires of Yavimaya!
Crystal Ball and Sphinx of Jwar Isle are two of her favorite friends. With all of the library ordering going on, definitely bring a Lurking Predators to the party.
Also, one of the best instants to have on hold with her is Time Stop. It just is.

Quick question about this as a general. If you exile cards, and Intet goes back to the command zone. Can you cast those removed from game cards the next time you cast Intet?

If i had a few spells exiled along with dragonstorm, would playing the other spells first allow me to copy dragonstorm, or would they not count for a storm ability?

Here's a question. Let's say your Scion of the Ur-Dragon becomes a copy of Intet and you use the triggered ability to exile the top card of your deck. The effect reads "For as long as Intet remains on the battlefield", but while she never LEAVES the battlefield, she stops being Intet.

So what happens? Can you still cast the cards or what?

@Tezzieagentofwoona: once Scion Dragon of Ur becomes itself again, it would no longer be "Intet" and therefore you wouldn't be able to cast the card. You can still look at it though :P

@Symmes: She plays spells which means they go directly on the stack and are never cast. If you're looking to help your storm count with her, she does have wonderful cascade colors. Put her on the field, next turn swing at the opponent, pay the 3 and exile a Dragonstorm face down, then cast Bloodbraid Elf and get 3 free Dragons for 7 mana :D Also, Maelstrom Wanderer allows you to double cascade when you cast it (also in color) would be a wondrous tech.

@Mhirnatsu: Nope, she'll enter the battlefield as a new permanent, oblivious to her previous existence. But, that won't stop you from exiling more cards :D

On a personal note though, amazingly fun general. For extra kicks and giggles, run with Djinn of Wishes. Just play everything without a mana cost.

Source for Intet being female:

Weird that the French translation made Intet male anyway.

@lorendorky: I see what you did there

@Dakon: actually, casting a spell through Intet's ability does trigger storm and cascade. "Cast" is pretty much just the word "play" applied to a nonland card (aka "spell"). And I'm not sold on you not being able to cast spells exiled with Scion of the Ur-Dragon after the end of turn.

I'm pretty sure that whenever a card says its name somewhere in its text, you can replace that with "this permanent" or whatever. Therefore Scion of the Ur Dragon and also things like Sakashima the Imposter would work with Intet.

I think that Intet is the funniest of the 10 3-color Dragons.
I like to run it in a deck with only a little of library manipulation, so only sometimes I can predict what I will get, and the other times it's only a matter of chance. I find it much more exiting this way.
There is another thing: let say that you get a counterspell with it. You can play always tapped out without worring because you always have a counterspell online. Let's say that your opponent swallow the bait and play a revelant spell, that you counter with the counterspell from under Intet. From now on, your opponent will play in fear to another trick from Intet, so even if you exile a land, as long as you look at it with a tricky face, your opponent would play assuming things that aren't true... For example, when he/she plays something "interesting", always look at the land under Intet, think for about 5 seconds, and then say "Mmmm... Ok, resolve it!". With Intet you can cheat a lot!

My personal chart of the Dragons:
Intet, the Dreamer
Teneb, the Harvester
Crosis, the Purger
Dromar, the Banisher
Numot, the Devastator
Rith, the Awakener
Oros, the Avenger
Darigaaz, the Igniter
Treva, the Renewer
Vorosh, the Hunter

Add some topdeck manipulation and could be okay. Not a fan, it has to connect with a player and then the ability is coinflippy.
